    This man has got perfect hands on diagrams. Never seen any professor drawing such perfectly straight lines and symbols. Very nicely explained.

    @GilgaFresh You can distribute the current that way also. e.g., current I3 in 2 ohm resistor and (I1-I2-I3) in shorted path AB. This way also you can proceed, but, in that case, you have to calculate (I1-I2-I3) after finding individual currents; because, we need to find current in shorted path AB which is the value of Norton's current source 'IN'. Hence, to avoid one more calculation and to save time, I have taken I3 in shorted path AB
