- A really amateur extension from Eviterno's boss fight theme from blasphemous 2, I was tired of looping the og release
I do not claim ownership of any of the material shown in this video. Music's credit due to Carlos Viola, original composer from Blasphemous 2.
The artwork displayed is from artists Zhi (www.artstation.com/gybh699295...) and Salazar (@salazar.ee19 on Instagram) respectively. Consider supporting their work.
I love how his theme is a remix of Crisanta phase 2, and they both say the line “ my penance is far from over!” Both really fun boss fights.
Crisanta walked so Eviterno could run fr fr
For i am the first penitent, and... you shall be the last!
Now let the crimson bindings finish what they have started. My penance is far from over!
In english its epic but on spañish whit that spain acent is wow i bet they waste a bunch of money on those voice actors
Yup, that's the line. You just forgot the quotation marks...or did you do that on purpose?
From a storytelling perspective, I think Eviterno would fit better as a final boss than Incarnate Devotion. The Miracle Child might be your main enemy, but Eviterno closes the story off better. He protects the Miracle Child, and your fight is also one of revenge for Crisanta, and he's the first penitent ever, which should have been brought up more. Ending with him would make for a more impactful ending, especially considering how easy Incarnate Devotion was.
The same way Soul of Cinder is the final boss of Ds3 and Gael is the FINAL boss of ds3. Eviterno is the end of our personal journey with the game, Devotion Incarnate is the end of the tale.
i just finished the game and t could have been so much better by talking more about eviterno, explaining us more who is is and where he comes from. telling story scarcely in item description doesn't always works
Why is this one hits deep in my soul ?!! what a beautiful music !!!
I cheered for the first penitent tbh
Seeing how tired he is from the waiting, how miserable he is about his task and how even after death the archconfraternity answer his call really cements the ending of the game in a really unique light. In the end, no one here is a villain, just like Crisanta and Esdras before them, Eviterno and the archconfraternity members are just another victims of the unfathomable will of the miracle, and are as tired of their tasks as the penitent one is.
Sometimes you are too deep into your own conviction you cannot falter anymore. You will see it to the very end, even if there is no strength in you anymore.
@@Squeezo71 I feel his undying will and faith on a level no other ever reached
"my penitence is far from ending..😢🔥"
@@Squeezo71 Yes and no. He looks tired, sure, but he's far from miserable about his task. He looks to take great pride in it, even calling the Miracle "My Miracle"
Best music ever heard in my entire life
"Pues soy el Primer Penitente... y vos... ¡SERÉIS EL ULTIMO!"
MY penance is.. FAR from over
Archicofradia!!
That was my favorite attack
This song doesn't sound the same without Eviterno's grunts as he attacks.
Really adds gravitas to the whole situation, old man be fighting with his all this time.
@@Squeezo71agree and that hapoend whit the most epic battles usaully exept for one... Plim plim plon...
This electric guitar so righteous.
Que hermosa melodía.💚
Blasphemous 2.
When he picked up Her sword... I got pissed. I dont care if you were the first, or if i am the last. Dont touch her sword, you have no right.
I got mad too at first. Then the song kicked in and he started mirroring her fighting style and felt sad for him too. Just as Crisanta before him, he is too a prisoner of the miracle, yet we couldnt save him like we did with her.
For Crisanta, we will have our reckoning.
Same here, I wanted to use it during the fight. Yet the song kicked in and the second phase of the battle began...I was doing EVERYTHING I could to survive. It was so fast and so lethal ot was like a dance of lighting-a dance of death
@@Squeezo71I know, sadly he was fully believing in it. He had no choice, unlike Crisanta who was blinded and lied to Eviterno was cursed. And given how old he is IF he has been waiting as long as he claimed then killing him was an act of mercy putting him out of his misery and setting him free from the miracles influence
Outstanding work you did there!!
That song gets better every time I listen to it, I really like the little mandolin playing softly in the background before it hits the last notes.
For me this song and the one when we return to the mother of mothers church are the best.
2:58 best
What if The Penitent One, us, grabbed the Crisanta's Crimson Red sword instead of Eviterno?
Not Mea Culpa yes but it would be nice to one "last dance" with the old buddy.
MY PENANCE IS FAR FROM OVER!!
Pues yo soy el primer penitente, y vos... ¡seréis el último!
The best sountrack in blasphemous 2, you have su beso de plata extended?
Might get on extending that one too
This is trully beautiful, I do not paly the game(i know it is amazing) but i absolutely love the soundtrack, from both games.
In this version i don't know which part is the trubute but it is so amazing and beautiful. I can also hear some sort of variation of Su Beso de Plata, or am i wrong?
Yeah, it is the leitmotif from Su beso de plata. However, this same leitmotif appears first in the march of the twisted one (the games main theme), and Su Beso de Plata borrowsfrom it. One could consider the leitmotif as a the penitents leitmotif, which is shared by our protagonist, Crisanta and Eviterno, aswell as the members of the archconfraternity.
please do the other rest of the ost😭
Phase 1 Eviterno: heh easy
Phase 2 Eviterno: I suddenly regret saying that.............. help!!!!
Carlos Viola work hits different. Epic artwork also, any source ?
Sources are in description. Sorry for the late answers
Do you have a link to the picture used in 4:20? I tried to search for it and I couldn't find it :c
Viva España joder!
Pues, soy el primer penitente y vos..... SEREIS EL ULTIMO!
Beautiful song, poorly designed boss right.
the true final boss
