I am doing a research in ancient history covering a many battles.
So what's the most accurate book for history that covers Geographical map, trading route and farms during 1Ad to 1000Ad.
And also the same thing for medieval periods.
And the same thing for Modern time.
Comparing between for sure will discussed during the research.

I thought of this strategy before but my map of Canada is too big so I can not locate straight roads. My teacher is full of bs and doesn’t teach. She just gives us projects and work

Hi, I think you have miss-understood how to use the piece of paper to calculate distance. You do not look for straight roads but turn the page until you find the longest straight section of the road you want to take. If your map is too large you can actually use a protractor and walk the protractor along the road (set it first at a known distance) and count the steps. This is a little like how navigators do it. Hope this helps
