Back in the UK where they filmed the movie Georgy Girl what memories for the group..they recorded the title song two verisons the opening credits and the closing credits when Georgy Girl Lynne Redgrave gets hitched.
A question was posed, humorously, by one of the guys... (laughing) Who are you?.... If I may....Judith is part of... "The Greatest Story Ever Told". God blessed us all.
It's interesting to see Judith's reaction (@ 3:20-3:32) to Athol's comments, would have liked to see interview footage just before then,I believe there was still some fence mending ongoing.
@@grettelvargas844 she had a crush on each of them at one time, though nothing serious ever developed. they were more her big brothers throughout. I will say, I think Judith and Athol would 've made a great pair
Judith was a great jazz singer and had formally studied music, specifically voice (as in opera) and piano (with Prof Ronald Farren Price) at the Melbourne University Conservatorium. Folk and pop singing was fun, great remuneration of course, but not what she had set out to achieve. She left the group and connected up with UK musician Ron Edgeworth and married him shortly after. Check out music from "The Hottest Duo in Town". Ron and Judith were married for 24 years before he died from Motor Neurone Disease (the condition Stephen Hawkins had). This reunion tour by the boys and her was not long after the stress and grief of Ron's passing. If you are getting 'signals' of anything between any of the boys and Judith put it into that context. Wonderful supportive friendship is what comes to my mind. Have a look at Judith's piano skills by searching for Judith playing Nola on youtube and the intro starts with her playing Rachmaninov (I think) and then she cheekily moves into Nola and more ragtime piano.
One of the best live concerts ever.
The pure beauty of the music of the Seekers will last forever.

I am wondering if there was more than a friendship between Athol and Judith. They look so comfortable together. Just saying...
