this is so lovely to hear, i really appreciate it! i mainly use my pilot 0.5 vball rollerball pen. i also have a what's in my pencil case video, there you can find some more information about the pens i'm using.
Have you ever watched the channel @Megan Rhiannon ? Just wondering because a lot of your videos seem very heavily inspired from her channel, and I wanted to make sure she receives inspiration credit. I think she had mentioned she is fine with inspiration being taken if she is credited. If you haven’t heard of her videos, you probably would like them, and sorry for bothersome comment lol.
yes i've watched some videos from her. you should know that i'm still trying to finding my own style and identity through making videos. but yes these videos are inspired by @MeganRhiannon if that is what you wanted to hear.
@@commonplace-log that’s fine! No hate on your style I just wanted to mention it incase you didn’t know that she preferred for credit to be given is all I meant. I just remembered because she recently had responded to someone asking about it on tumblr :)
I thought it was a new Megan Rhiannon video based on the thumbnail, title, and title “punctuation”. Thank you for raising this point. I’ve graded a lot of undergrad work while in grad school and this would be an F solely for obvious lack of citation. I’m all finding your own style through initial mimicry of others (everyone does it), but lack of transparency really upsets me.
@@NoxDineen hi, thank you for your comment. it does makes me more aware of my content and that i'm again trying to find my own identity here on yt. i've contacted megan through email and apologised to her.
@@commonplace-log Hi! I just came back here because my comment has been bothering me. I realized how easily it could come off as critical in a cruel or derogatory way and I truly didn't mean it as such. I know a lot of great artists and writers have said they start by imitating the masters, getting a feel for how the words flow or brushstrokes feel. It's a very normal part of the finding and perfecting your own style. And not everyone has "cite your sources" hammered into their noggin for over a decade like I did, so it's an understandable oversight. I appreciate your responses here, you gave me grace and interpreted what I said generously (as it was intended if not well conveyed).
i use the red dots for information and articles. yellow is for creative ideas, green is for memories, quotes or journaling. and blue is for interests such as; illustrations, movies or books. but it changes from time to time.
yes, i designed these cards myself (i'm a graphic designer and illustrator.) i store my cards with the same color coding system as my notebooks. i mainly use my notecards for the information i want to keep for a longer period of time such as; my routines, quotes, passwords and more
Omg first of all ur notebooks are so pretty and minimalist. And secondly our dog's name is also Milo!
