      The borders are artificial: that is fact! But, you cannot tear them down all of a sudden because people have evolved under different leaderships and systems, thereby becoming different! What we need first is system and policy unification, and that is a very hard and long process, before the borders could drop down in a United States of Africa (USAF)!

    As a Tutsi Congolese, I’m just surprised that someone like Mwalimu Nyerere was able to understand this issue of Tutsi Congolese specifically Banyamulenge in such detail way because by the time Banyamulenge were under the radar which makes would make them unheard and unknown.This makes Nyerere a an extraordinary politician. He was just a genius individual with qualities that are very rare to find in so called African leaders. They have no curiosity nor urgency to seek understanding of the people they govern. Let alone other tribes from different countries. He was a true leader and Professor as well

Despite his early successes, so broken was Mandela, by the time he was released from prison he was but mere iconography meant to distract the world while the entire RSA was sold off to White wealth. Not blaming Mandela, but the man was completely broken. Could you imagine South Africa had Winnie taken command.

      The problems that we are facing is related with colonialism,when they shared Africa like people who are sharing meat of dead cow,we know that they prevent the conflict where meat of cow were,that why the reason why Berlin conference took from 15/11/1884 to 26/02/1885.imagine a meeting of 102 says it lasted because every country wanted a delicious part of that meat ,here where I m in DRc they decided to fix boarder through their wish,. unfortunately east of congo were Rwanda ,so after shaping boarders there are kinyarwanda'speaker speakers who found them in congo others on Rwanda ,even siblings one became Rwandan other became Congolese ,imagine to brothers who don't have the same nationality, other problems are these after genocide again tutsi the perpetrators who killed innocent tutsi exporteded their hell heart of sowing hatred again tutsi ,that why tutsi are being facing that impact.so as summary m 23 are children of refugees in different countries who are fighting their rights,they hungry 14:14 they miss their motherand ,so no one have chosen tribe and language please. we want Africans fell brothers and sisters

    Baba Mwalimu Julius Nyerere has given us wisdom. The African hiuseholds cannot continue to be victim of artificial borders inherited from colonialists. African people are actually households is so big that it cannot be contained on a piece of land or a small box liike Rwanda or Burundi.
    Zaire authorities must strive to serve the African household, not the colonial border lines. The People of Rwanda and Burundi are part of continous spectrum into Easter Zaire! The Banyamulenge are Zaireans, Rwandans and Burundians!

  • @2naija
    @2naija 6 дней назад +14

    The Banyamulenge make up less than 1% of the DRC population and are also minorities in eastern congo. What I see in region between Rwanda, Bunrundi, DRC and Uganda is the oppression of a specific group of people by an ancient ruling class that are minorities. The ruling class are struggling to face the realities of a more democratic representative type of government. How can less than 1% of DRC population be at the heart of so much chaos? I am sure DRC government are also culpable for allowing this mess. If Kagame is correct, why has he failed to groom another politician to take over from him for the last 25 years? Is he worried that he will find it hard to hand over power to another group, because he is fuilly aware if he hands over power to another Tutsi, suspicions would rise of ruling class of minorities ruling other more than 80% of Rwanda. Anyone that believes in equality under the law has to challenge what is going on in that region.

      Stop telling liars!!
      We know the history of this country better than you !
      The Tutsi people began migrating to the Congo, specifically the Kivu region, during the late 19th century when colonial borders were drawn, with significant waves of Tutsi refugees fleeing persecution in Rwanda arriving in the late 1950s following the Rwandan Revolution; these Tutsi who emigrated before Congolese independence are often referred to as "Banyamulenge". And this is because they wanted to differ themselves from those Rwandese Tutsi who fled the 1994 war , but before 1994 they were never called banyamulenge.
      Rwandan Revolution (1959):
This event led to a large influx of Tutsi refugees crossing into Congo, fleeing persecution from the Hutu majority. 7000 of them were recruited from 1925 to 1929 particularly as labour migrants during the colonial period. There were no Tutsis in the nation up until that point and nor before 1884 Berlin conference. The archives still exist to this day in Belgium. We don’t have Tutsi Congolese nor Tutsi community but rwandese community because they came as refugees. It’s the same way when you go to America you seek asylum as Rwandese and not as Tutsi so, you should apply the same thing to Congo. Congolese are Bantu no Nilotic so stop tripping okay!
