- Hello and welcome to day one of our August 2024 Disneyland Paris trip!
Today we experience a very wet and rainy day at Disney. We ride some rides and watch the incredible shows Together and Disney Junior Dream Factory.
We check into the gorgeous Newport Bay before heading to Hotel New York Art of Marvel’s amazing Downtown restaurant for dinner.
We also enjoy an evening at Newport Bay as the rain was too bad to go back to the parks.

Not the girl putting her finger up to behind you on it’s a small world. That’s not very magical 😂 great video! ❤
I didn’t even notice her until I edited, sorry hun 😅😂
Thank you! 🩷
Hi, thanks for sharing your trip with us. You mention the service at the Disneyland hotel, which is something I am seeing a lot on blogs but not vlogs so much. We are due to stay there in a deluxe room in December as a once in a lifetime kind of thing given the cost. Would you from your experience recommend rethinking the hotel choice? Was the service hit and miss or terrible across the board in that hotel. Any honest insight you can offer would be great as most people I have watched say wonderful things but then again they may well have been recognised by staff and getting preferential treatment ??
Hey, in all honesty I would tell people to avoid staying at the Disneyland Hotel. You pay an extortionate amount of money and do not get the extras that they state on the website.
We had multiple issues during our entire stay and the staff couldn’t have cared less if they tried. I’d really recommend saving your money and staying at Newport Bay or Art of Marvel!
Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. Such a shame that you and others have had such negative experiences. Was your stay soon after opening or more recently? I can only hope it improves. But for now I will seriously consider switching hotels.
Thanks again
We stayed a few weeks after opening. I’ve stayed at Newport Bay since then and we had a perfect stay there so I’d honestly recommend saving your money!
