My stepmom is like this. Not only would she make me ‘work’ for it,she’ll chain me to it and try to hold it over me in radically covert ways. I was treated very differently than my half siblings. Life was hard twice. My dad was tough and oppressive. My stepmom doubled down because I wasn’t her child but I looked to her because I was young when I met her. Thank you. 6 years ago I asked my daughter who is a nurse, to help me as a single grandmother, with her sister (my daughter) who was going through addiction. She never helped before, but this time I didn't have the strength. She called other family members and told them I was talking s$#t about them, instead of helping me. The one time I begged her for help, she not only didn't help her sister, but other people were furious with me! I just saw her after 6 years, trying to forget, just can't 😢
The title really relates. My family used to be homeless and had to live with our cousins, aunts, uncles and grandma in the basement. Looking back at all of those events was preparing us for the better! I am in the process of studying for my special education certificate and will obtain my education specialist degree after my masters in teaching! Thanks Lynn! I honestly feel like being a giver is a special quality. I love giving, it’s enjoyable to me. My Grandmother was like that, she would give you the shirt off her back and she had very little. But the whole neighborhood knew who Sister Washington was. When she died, we had people coming to our door saying things like, Sister Washington was always kind to me. Oh my friend. Everything you said was on point. And I have still love in my heart. We met when he was in his professional sport, but I was drawn to his light. Not what he did. He appreciated that, but also…bothered him. Used to the limelight. He does things for others and complains. But never for me. When you paused and said “it’s a doozy”, I had tears well up because you had to feel and see, but on point. I do healing work, help children at end of life leave out of their bodies. He once screamed in my face “what makes you special that God would pick you”. My connection to God, archangels, guides , loved ones, all those I’ve helped at end of life galactic, Divine Beings I connect with and so cared and protected by. Soo, I simply emanate love. Thank you Lynn 🙏 you are describing my connection with my ex situationship. I worked out his patterns and he went out of his way to antagonised me and he enjoyed my response. This is reactive abuse. I have come to realise and accept that I am an earth angel and when people come up against me for no reason except to satisfy some demon that is working through them, they receive instant karma. I am sure I was the first person who released themselves from his abuse and walked away and then glowed up 😂🙏🤗💗

He is a narcissist x who put me through a lot .. it took me a long while to recognise my self worth, to listen to my own intuition and gift of discernment.
He wanted to put me through another karmic cycle with him and because I chose my north node instead, he went on a smear campaign and planned to unalive me.
He was extremely conniving and manipulative to the point that my friends and some family members believed his word wizardry 😅 they even formed a whattsapp group to 'discuss' how they 'knew' me better than I knew myself 😂
I am in fact grateful for the experience because it pushed me into being a better version of mySelf.
Let these painful and challenging times make you better, not bitter.
