Where I am in Canada we had 3 cases of Omicron in the entire province so they literally cancelled all sports for kids and are putting them on Christmas break a week early... None of the known cases have even reached the schools yet. 🤦♂️ It's almost like they just want people to be constantly panicked or something.
England has no Bill of Rights, the Parliament can pass any law it wishes to pass. Thus it is exemplary of where elected democracy lawmaking can go. It demonstrates that the focus for intelligent thinking people should be, limiting the power of politicians such that they can't apply their endless urge to control, without logical reason, every aspect of daily life. Our Bill of Rights is the gift that keeps on giving, but it does take tireless resort to the courts to keep the various law making jerkoffs at every level in check.
I think this whole faux outrage about the Jussie situation is much to do about nothing. Obviously, there will be reactionaries in the beginning of any storyline when there isn't enough accurate information being widely spread. As long as those people eventually changed their opinion of the Jussie situation once they knew all the details of the case, that's all that matters. I don't think constantly harping on about those celebrities' clips when they were defending Jussie when they didn't know any better is gonna do anything. if anything, you're just being the same exact annoying snob you're complaining about.
The celebrities who defended Jussie Smollett probably didn't know better when the news first broke two years ago. As for Omicron, we don't have enough information on it. Scientists are still learning about its symptoms, in fact.
The 'Oh, come on' variant. 😁
It says a lot about what constitutes the 'left' in the US.
Thanks, Michael, for your persistent observations that the emperor has no clothes.

Yep, "Since 9/11"
Agreed. I have to tell my mother daily not to watch the news here. It's also a distraction, so they can do all sorts of other nonsense.
I love your sense of humor!
Thanks for doing your reporting! I want to join Rokfin.
