They did not FAIL. They worked out their contracts and were ready to complete this chapter of their career.
YES 👏
RETWEET!!
Well they weren't able to become more successful like many other groups do after having a hit song.
It's not the members fault it's because of their management. Instead of promotions in Korea where most of the rollin' success was they started promoting for the US. IN KOREA. Which is more than stupid.
yeah, looking at the business side of kpop you want those domestic fans, which is weird that some companies SOLELY want the US. like that’s not practical at all
@@minaarrii4084 exactly. I mean if you have a huge foreign fanbase I can see why but Brave Girls did not have that. Most of their fame was in Korea itself
I said it once and I’ll say it again. Disbandment will never take away their legendary status 😢❤ love and miss them now and forever
They signed to Warner Music Korea.
After the disbandment news, Eunji, Yujeong, Yuna and Minyoung were together attending their 7th Anniversary event held by their fans.
This gives hope that four of them will reunite with new name and new music in the future.
Rollin' has the record for longest PAK by an Idol Group, and Brave Girls had a record 3 Top#5 Songs on Melon at the same time consecutively (Rollin, Chi Mat Ba Ram, We Ride). They won many Awards, got a ton of Endorsements, and made money and went on a US Tour. They were riding high, unfortunately after that Brave Ent. instead of keeping up with the good will of the Fans, instead they tried to exploit and scam the Fans, pissing them off. The company was embroiled in scandals, and didnt give them proper comebacks after the Summer Queen Album. and instead of working to make things right and fix the issues, instead left Brave Girls alone. Of course, their popularity continued to drop. Its totally understandable if Brave Girls wanted to move on, they are in their 30's, and they accomplished some dreams. They can at least walk away knowing they still hold some Kpop records, and their story became forever a Kpop legend. Videos like these are suppose to make people feel sorry for them, but they are likely leaving without any regrets.
A litttle bit correction, the longest PAK by an Idol Group is currently Ditto and previously hold by Dynamite. Rollin is still legendary tho it was the longest PAK by girl group before Ditto came out.
New jeans had already surpassed their PAK with their song ditto
Nope, the longest PAK belonged to Dynamite by BTS and now belongs to Ditto by New Jeans. Brave Girls were never on the same level as BTS and a US Tour was totally unnecessary
This kind of small or medium kpop companies always fail for the same reason. These are owned totally by their founders, like a small family business, and they only think on getting as much money as they can from the artists they sponsor, even if they need to sink them in the process. Bravebro used the gaind from the unexpected late success of Brave Girls to build his new corporate building and after that, BraveGirls project was a closed deal which had delivered.
@@Daraayudara Ditto just proves pedophiles always win. So disgusting new jeans Is even popular
That's the nature of the kpop industry, the careers of the groups can be short-lived. Brave girls did well, they were successful but due to being mismanaged and their inactivity, that success quickly dwindled. It will be difficult for them to come back now with many other girl groups such as Newjeans who are taking over with more popularity, appeal and talent they have
At this point I have started to believe that ALL kpop companies debut and “manage” their artists so they can scam their fans
Yeah, the industry is over saturated with young and hungry talent. Brave Entertainment barely attempted to capitalized on the freak 2nd chance these girls had. Maybe instead of a new building and bonus' they should have invested in the group that made them that money so they could....I don't know... make them even more money? Brave Girls were one of the hottest properties of 2021. Yet Brave Entertainment didn't tap into Rollin' or a military gimmick (which you would have thought would have been a no brainer).
"with more popularity, appeal and talent" you phrased that very poorly. NewJeans aren't more talented than BG.... It's very subjective to compare groups based on their talent and appeal.
@@GleeChan Over saturation is the key word. Many of these kpop companies when debuting groups have a broker mindset.
New Jeans more talented than Brave Girls? That's pathetically embarrassing to say. New jeans only got famous because people love hearing 14 year olds sing about disgusting topics
I watched queendom because of loona and ended up falling in love with brave girls. That made me check out their discography. I believe I'm not the only one, many people had their eyes on them after queendom. Brave girls did garner good amongst of attention after queendom but their company failed them...
Happened to me with the participants of the first Queendom.
Whistle is such a banger, imagine if they promoted it...
Judge me all you want but Brave Girls’ achievement is one of the kpop breakthrough i’ll never forget. Rollin’ is still one of my top playlist in Spotify until now.
BBGirls debutet! Please support their debut with One More Time!
They didn't fail, because legends don't fail.
Pil Pil, the company failed them, some people just don't know what they are doing when it comes to business.
Brave Entertainment just failed to keep promoting them!! Also, with DKB. Instead of capitalizing on the sexy concept, they just went all out for retro-style music. TBH, the general public fell in love with their song and iconic dance with the chairs. Instead of doing something similar to secure more fans they did nothing.
Then my Bias Wrecker Kim Samuel left the Company.
They are not popular anymore, but they achieved what many groups dreamed off and that’s an accomplishment. I’m happy they got to experience it and meet their fans.
fr . Got popular late but more than no never . Nugu/ flop group wants like them. Thank the name BGs for mainted in more than 10 years , thank these girl in Bgs gen 2 (2016) never give up and worked hard in millitary , thank ex millitary for editing that viral video and made them became viral. I'm glad they can use their money from viral for continuing in their career now (Sorry for my bad English)
BB GIRLS ARE BACK! ❤
Ereally?
It is sad that brave girls gave it their all but the company let them down. Wherever they go I will support them ❤
well they're back now
I remember when they released Deepend and I thought that it was their debut and I was floored by how talented they were then I remember when they released Rollin and I thought it was a bop. Imagine my surprise when in 2021 Rollin became a mega hit… it was the best surprise. It’s too bad that they were mismanaged by their label. Wish them the best. ❤
I actually like Deepend more and I really thought that they all look so cool and talented
My first brave girls song I heard was Chi mat ba ram, and then I heard rollin later and stanned them immediately
Same Here but I knew them in 2016 in "Deepened" Era.
brave brothers made me wary of companies founded by producers when i heard BEP was debuting a girl group i was SCARED but i’m so glad BEP is focusing on stayc. brave entertainment had more problems than just brave brothers not focusing on them, the management, marketing and promotion was just bad. i still believe in brave girls i think the girls are charming and i’m excited to hear brave girls with possibly a different sound under a different company?? i can’t expect anything as of now but i’ll look foreword to their future
@@mc1069 yeah XG had me wary but they are doing pretty well for themselves so far. New Jeans has Hybe backing them up so I doubt they would have to experience any real trouble in managing since Hybe is such a powerhouse in the groups they care about, particularly Le sserafim, Bts, Txt, and now New Jeans. If Ador was to start doing some shady stuff Hybe would quickly shut that stuff down.
They're coming back under a new company!
I am so sad they disbanded. they were the underdogs from a small company. the people were so cruel with them criticizing them etc but at least we got to know them internationally. not only the company, their ages, one is 28 the rest is in their 30's so I imagine they will no longer want older ppl. I can't believe they came to the USA and I didn't know. i want to cry . my heart is broken i cant believe i miss them. 💔💔💔💔 I wish HYBE would get them back.
The girls only left Brave Entertainment and said they would want to reunite in the future. They are now signed with Warner Music and preparing for a summer comeback. Shortest disband ever ♥

I came aboard when ROLLIN came out and thank you for the news of BRAVE GIRLS earlier years I did not know this. I will follow them just as I have done many other who disbanned, I wish all the ladies well in their journey.💔
I discovered them thru queendom and immediately feel in love with how talented they are ;A;
oh gosh they didn't fail. In my eyes the WON. their story will forever be history .it's inspiring and their songs and talent is legit. So nah They WON with their Cinderella story and graciously took their leave to keep pursuing newer paths. 👏
Perspective is everything. For some people that 15 minutes of fame is success. It ticks off a dream even if it’s short lived. For others however it can be a fail. Maybe they wanted to be bigger and more successful with a catalog of successful songs. Not just 3. I’m not disagreeing with you but I don’t fully agree either.
I’ve always loved We Ride, and still do, It’s a shame that the group was never promoted consistently, But I’ll always listen to their best songs.
Brave Girls are such talented women with kind souls who went through a lot so they’ll be always be in the history books but also have great futures ahead
Let's support BB Girls! 💕
I was lucky enough to see them live in San Francisco last year. The performance was absolutely AMAZING, they down the house. This news really came as a horrible surprise to so many. It's heartbreaking to know that they were stopped in the middle of their climb.
I've said it for years, Brave Bros has no idea how to manage them. This was the easiest disbandment to avoid: Give them proper promotions, better merch, better releases and one Korean concert. But, should we be surprised? Look at how BIGSTAR was abandoned for 4 years before their disbandment in 2019, no comebacks since 2015. It's a Brave trademark. Form a group, promote it a few years, forget about it. I've literally said I feel like Brave Girls's 2016 re-boot felt like like Brave Bros thinking "I can't have AOA to myself so, I'm gonna form my own 7 member girl group" and, once things didn't go as planned, "Well, that's that!". Imagine being the girls and going three and a half years before getting an actual comeback, just years of uncertainty, preparing yourself for leaving it all behind, experiencing one of the greatest Cinderella stories in K-Pop at the last second, this is your moment, you have the public's love and attention and Brave Bros STILL ignores you after a year. I'll never not be angry about Brave Girls. They were one of my very first groups back with the 1st gen and it just hurts, as a Fearless, watching preventable things mess up a great group and the dreams of very hard working, talented women.
I believe Minyoung and Eunji's words, they'll come back together and they'll give us all the love they couldn't with Brave. Minyoung hinted before at being unable to do things due to trademark issues. I think "Goodbye" means Brave Girls, the project, has concluded but, the group will continue in one form or another. This isn't the end, I really feel that. It's only the beginning of something better.
Honestly that company is horrible. The talent is there and the work ethic within the groups is there but the Company always refuses to promote the groups within it well. I think the company just refuses to admit that they don't know how or have the resources to promote a group effectively but wants to have groups in their company to better promote their song writing to other companies.
they deserved so much better.
They didn't fail as the Korean public loved them all , it was the company who failed to promote them properly .
But they will succeed even more now as they are out of that company .
And they are well known in korea to get their success individually or as a new group in future
These companies act like shell companies, seriously what kind of legit company would overlook their most promising in demand product. A lot of kpop companies are like this
I feel like this video undermines just how insanely succesful their run was? Rollin, Chi Mat Ba Ram, and We Ride - three hit singles are what most groups dream of. Completely agree Brave failed them and could have kept them together, but ultimately I love that they got to achieve their dream. Even if it was a little shorter than we'd like, they made it.
For some, that 15 minutes of fame you describe is success. To others being basically a one hit wonder is not. Perspective and goal is what alters the meaning of success, not stats and numbers.
They failed because of their company. They still wanted to stay together and make music together to the very end.
rollin' was actually an awesome song! i wish all of the members the best.
I refuse to believe that I won't see Yujeong, Yuna, Minyoung & Eunji perform again. They say that they'll someway, somehow continue...I can only hope that is true. They're all WAY TOO GOOD to just go off into obscurity. Did I mention that I love'em?
I hope they find a good company who can promote them well enough
Well they’re back
@@bi111ieluvbotlet’s see what they can do though. Usually k pop artists retire and fall off by their age
I didn't know half of this, but even I could see how stupid they were being managed last year. They released an album weeks BEFORE Queendom, giving little to no time to promote it. They also released it against another big comeback, which didn't help. Then Queendom 2 happened, where the purpose of the show wasn't about them, had other groups with sob-stories, and just had too many issues to be the runaway success that Queendom 1 was. And, lastly after Queendom, they did nothing to promote whatever boost they could have gotten from the show (that took them away from promoting their album). I mean the whole thing was a sh*tshow, and even for an outsider like me I could tell this was BS and that the girls were being mismanaged. BUT WOW. I can't believe just how screwed they were by Brave Entertainment along with all of this.
they did NOT fail !!! just take a look at their mv views and they still charted pretty well. they probably had enough of the idol life as their contracts expired
WHAT WHY!!?? I don’t understand, they had so much success and i loved what they were doing. I feel so bad for these girls they were in the spotlight and yet they were still failed by their company. 😢 My heart ACHES for them
Hopefully, they made a nice stack of cash from their popularity boom. Especially if they generated over $ 10 million but they most likely got screwed which seems to be the case generally in Kpop.
Actually all the songs they released after rolling charted on Melon. But I will never forgive that they labeled them as summer queens on queendom and gave them no summer comeback, instead a USA tour when almost all their fandom is Korean.
You would think the company would all-out support the group after naming it same as the company name.
Fr..smh
They failed because horrible management of brave entertainment and brave brothers thier ceo instead producing music for them and give them korean concert he decided to use rollin money for new building for his company and used Bravegirls to perform private events and used them to promote his nft bussiness and i think when he felt girls will not renew he started sabotaging them by giving them nothing to do and no music
Basically the moral of the story is, it’s not just talent that makes a group successful, an agency can MAKE or BREAK a group based on how much money and effort they want to put into a group. BTS, Blackpink, Twice, have zero immunity to this as well. They can all fall at any time.
In Kpop is it. In western pop it isn't. Western labels take a more passive place, just recording and promoting, but the song production and touring is on the artist creative direction. In Kpop everything belongs to the Label, the artist becomes just an employee and with luck he may get permission to create his own music. It depends on he got big enough to improve his contract conditions.
Hey guys lets make a company and call it brave, hey guys we got a group lets call it brave girls after the company it will be our flagship group representing our professionalism, it will show all of Asia what kind of company we are, we won't have any problems and the publicity will be great, err how did we fail our group, err did we have a group, oopps we forgot about them, cos we were working on other things, bet nobody noticed,
So sad for the company just happy for the small popularity they earned and got themself a new building, they have no plans renewing them in the first place that's why the luck the girls have is just a one lucky day for the company and move on in the next day. I hope while the girls is still have the luck they have they will find a new company that will treat them right, hope for the best for them...
After seeing how brave ent works, I do wonder why ppl still join the agency as trainees n wanna debut in this company. Better not wasting your whole youth to a company who doesn't care for u.
Still very unfortunate that they disband, but let see the bright side. All of their achievement, music shows, variety shows, charts, and commercial films, all of that is a hell of number. I still remember they once said doing 25 CFs at the same period. I hope the earning was a great amount so they can pursue anything that they want in future, and of course succeed it
They are far from being a failure. In fact one of the most legendary breakthroughs in kpop. Their story is like no other. Disbandment doesn't mean failure, it just means they are ready to move forward. They made the most of their unexpected but very much deserved breakthrough and they just knew it was time to finish strong.
The girls only left Brave Entertainment and said they would want to reunite in the future. They are now signed with Warner Music and preparing for a summer comeback. Shortest disband ever ♥
Welcome back, fighting fearless forever ❤❤❤
THIS MAKES ME SO SAD. Bc I bought their summer queen album... even originally from Korea... I LOVE THEM.
simple answer on why they failed after their success: the company
It sucks that even though they found that window of success their company failed to promote them to greater heights , it’s crazy they wouldn’t let them perform a concert for their Korean fanbase when they offered to pay for it themselves
I saw as soon as they went viral their ceo post a story about building a new building literally holding a 3D model. I have a feeling they didn’t want to invest anymore in them. SUS
I knew Brave Girls in 2016 in "Deepened" Era but I became a fan of them after "Rollin" or "Chi Mat Ba ram" Era. They're One of my Bias Girl Group in K-Pop So FAR. I'm So SAD that I didn't have a Chance to see them in Person here in the Philippines last October a year ago & of course their Disbandment...I Really Miss Them!!! 😢💔😭
Minyoung 💙 Yujeong 💚 Biased Here 💟
After seeing brave girls I think blackpinks hiatus is nothing
Brave Ent failed to promote them properly. I'm glad Brave Girls was able to get their first win, get lots of recognition, and found closure before disbanding as a group.
Brave has always absolutely sucked at managing ANY of their artists. FeelDog brought so much attention to himself and Big Star, and Brave still sucked at capitalizing on it.
They shouldn't even be managing groups. They're so awful. Just stick to song production.
Wow… it took them 10 years to get recognition they deserve all the support
Talented ladies utterly let down by a quasi-animated potato acting as management.
Now they rebranded and came back as BBgirls
Im feeling bad of bg seriously after so many years they gain more recognotion and still they r not getting any success which they deserve thank god they r not disbanding and going to another company its best decision im looking forward to their new songs hope for best good luck to them
I miss them soo much✨😭
I don’t really stan Brave Girls, but I liked Rollin’. If only Brave ENT. Was better at managing their fame, maybe they would’ve been more successful and not’ve disbanded so early
brave girls have debuted again under the name "BBGIRLS", please support them?
Brave Ent doesn't deserve Brave Girls...💔
btw,Brave Girls did not fail...Brave Bros did
they are legends and that is on period
You might say it was good that the other members bailed out when they did, but I'm just glad that I wasn't deprived of the great music that the last lineup provided. They gave me great JOY during a difficult 2 years. THEY WILL BE MISSED MORE THAN THEY KNOW! (Brave Brothers should be ashamed of himself.)
I don't think that failed is a right term, chit mat ba ram was quite popular and sales were really good, it gave a good start to their 2nd innings, they were not always going to be like rolling and with time people move. This will give them better opportunity in the industry
I think going on Queendom was a bad idea as much as I loved watching Brave Girls on there they could've spent that time making more music. I love their music and I'm glad they're staying together as a group.
Brave Girls: "We earned money!"
Brave Ent: "Perfect! we'll use that to construct a new building"
I'm still crying over this .. I'll never forgive.
But after Rollin’s success their next few songs got a ton of views & Im pretty sure they charted decently in kcharts. I’m confused how they did bad?
the company ruin them
I hope dkb will doing fine bcuz they under the same company with brave girls😕..but now brave girls already disbanded ..i dont know what will happen to dkb in the future..
I love love brave girls, I hope they can continue making me happy with their music and charms, greetings from Canada 🇨🇦 ❤
lets be realistic here look at the 4gen girl group line up LSF,IVE,NJ,AESPA,NMIXX,GIDEL, and i can keep going It is the all time hardest level for small company girl groups honestly i think everyone did their best
Who is gidel?
@@ello_pleb I think he's trying to say (G)I-DLE
They really did get help seriously
The cursed is real!!
they did not fail, before being viral they already said they were going out of the idol life. I think they just stayed a year for the fans to show love and the timing of the ending of the contract just seals the deal
Brave Ent is a terrible company. As a fan of Brave Girls since their debut, I've seen the company fail them again and again. I just hope they're able to succeed now that they're finally out of that company
The worst company for management. Brave Brothers comes from YGent, we shouldn't be so shocked. I knew something was off, when we had been waiting over a year for Brave Girls to comeback, only to be hit with the Rollin' remix😤who the heck releases a song and the next "comeback" single is a remix of the same song 13-15 months later??? And it wasn't a repackaged ep either.
Brave has some of the best dancers with DKB and before with BIGSTAR and they never use that to their advantage. It's almost like they are scared of promoting their strengths. Deepened should have put Brave Girls on the map at that time. I really hope DKB is the last group to come out of there.
I don't care what no one says, BIGSTAR should have been HUGE. Brave Brothers lost my respect when he said in order for them to have a come back, FeelDog had to win once on Hit The Stage in 2016 (I swear that show was rigged). What?!?! Come again!?! Only One waited almost a year for a come back just to get told, well he has to win first🙄he didn't win, but finally in 2017 we had a comeback planned via makestar. ONLY to get cancelled because some of the guys and Brave Girls went on The Unit. And then they disbanded in 2019 like nothing had happened. What in the world was he thinking??? The only thing the general public got out of it, was knowing who FeelDog was since he became the leader once again in UNB (years later joining SMF) and knowing he can dance. And don't get me started on Baram and 1PUNCH😒
It's sad when your producer CEO can write #1 hits for everyone else except the families he created....
I would not use the word fail. Their contract expired and they were very successful after rollin too. They charted well and sold better but most important the members got very popular.
I think Brave entertainment spend more time on DKB than on Brave Girls. I love DKB but I wish Brave would have given Brave Girls the same attention as they give DKB. Then maybe Brave Girls would still be together
It's a pattern sadly, he's done it with BIGSTAR (stopped promoting in 2015, disbanded in 2019) and now Brave Girls, I fear it'll be the same with DKB someday. Seriously, even DKB got a full album not long after debut. Brave Girls was promised a full album twice and never got it.
Fail? I mean.. they did something a lot wouldn't be able to do. Revive a old song and make it a viral hit. And then thrive from it. TBH I'm surprised that their revived fame lasted so long. They really milked the sh*t of Rollin. And because of it were invited to awards and shows. I think they had more than a good run. Especially at their "older" age it's not something easy to do.
Brave Girls deserve much more 🥺
they didn't promote them well I'm sad.
Imagine being that successful nd the brave entertainment being extremely careless like this
I don't remember that they released a special ver of High Heels unless it was the new choreo with rerecorder vocals
I had the feeling that the company didn't care anymore... "Let's put some nice flower dresses on and just sing Rollin" They should have a better styling something like Mamamoo, "mature" but fun and sexy. Whistle was a good song but too much like Chi. The Brave company wanted to play safe. I really hope the girls come back but they have to do it now not in 5 years or so.
I was listening to Brave Girls back in 2011 when i graduated high school I about to be 30 years old in 2 days and I had a feeling this would happen but they need to go to a different company because what Brave did smh it’s a typical situation what any other k-pop music label do to there groups. If you need help managing groups psh ask me lol
I'm not so sure I agree that even proper promotion would have saved them from disbandment. It is so insanely difficult to re-create the vibe/hype born from spontaneous viral success. They did the right thing by capitalising on it as much as possible and getting a couple albums our afterwards but the end outcome was never going to be different.

Love is gone is such a bop :'(
The curse of Queendom,1 group will explode due to internal fights,2 groups will disband within 2 years, the rest will benfit greatly from being on the show
Minyoung has a legendary voice, I so hope to hear her singing again. I'd love for them to comeback by what ever means, brave bros really fumbled by not promoting them.
Kpop failed since it couldnt keep those gems. Now again Kpop is all about big companies treating their malnourished minors as products. So i will leave Kpop too and keep following Brave Girls wherever they go.
Brave Girls rebranded as BBGirls, and is under a new company! They have released "One More Time" and "Love 2" so far, support them!
this makes me saddd
If they redebut they should call Stars girls
I think it's ok to end for good, they had at least their time and recognition they deserved even though it was a short time.
Personally I’m not a fan of brave girls but reading this story but in my opinion Brave Brothers just clearly neglected them they didn’t pay enough attention to them and how could the girls keep on going like that if they can’t do what they love? That is why I personally understand why they left.
