As a mother I want to give him a hug! that is not how parents should raise children, ever. The damage that woman did to all her kids... glad the world is getting to see what happened Johnny, you deserved way better than that

Yup for sure that smile he does is not a smile of being happy or remembering some past happy thoughts it's a smile out of sheer nerves and anxiety I do the same thing and only people who know that smile will call it out cause they have it to.
You, Johnny, and myself my friend, there are women out there that can be as severe or even worse psychologically towards their kids and when girls grow up in that environment they carry it in their adulthood even if they were spoiled specially if they were spoiled, believe it or not, but not in Johnny's case.

I see him more as a regular person now than a celebrity or actor. This trial is sort of tearing down the illusionary wall that separates celebrities from others. Johnny is a regular guy with very real issues that a lot face. Very courageous for talking about all of this.

Anyone who has been abused knows that we always joking about how our parents beat us. Cuz it was so normalised as a kid and you joked about it with your siblings. Especially if you are Asian, black, islander, latin, etc - you know we got our fair share of belt, Salu, rattan, sandal, hanger, etc
I never find it odd to joke about it until my current partner who grew up in a loving home pointed out that it is not a laughing matter, and how horrible it was for a child to went through that. I still joke about it anyway lol
So the way Johnny laughed about how he shield himself when his mum walk passed him - I can tell it was 10000% genuine.
I always told myself that I will never date someone like my mum or dad. Yet all my previous relationships dictate otherwise. I am lucky I am now with a loving and supportive partner.. but it did take awhile to get to this point. Sometimes as an adult you wonder why your parents did it to you.. so you ended up dating that someone who reflected them to find a closure… or just a different outcome from what you experienced as a child..
I hope Johnny finds a person who will genuinely love and support him with all their heart.. truly

And what's insane is the number of people who continue that abuse, and egg on parents to just beat their children when they have problems with them, rather than having a discussion with them to get to the root of the matter. If you can't learn to ask questions, shut up, and listen, how do you ever expect to understand where your child is coming from? The same people grow up to expect their employers and government to think for them. They cannot think for themselves.

I was watching this video before bed and his relaxing voice put me right to sleep. I loved listening to his side and it was very interesting learning more about him.
I tried it kept me up and yes I agree his voice is so calming, deep and humble. I seem to not fall asleep as I don’t want to miss one word even though I watched it 5 times. He’s a LEGEND! This testimony will go down in history!

I know where his head is at, and we all know and he knows that he's not a bad person. He may act out with drinking and drugs but that's what curses him. At his core he is a good person. May he who his free from sin cast the first stone. It's amazing how his father's relationship with his mother is reflected in Johnny and Ambers. History repeats itself, like his father he wanted to on many occasions remove himself from the situation when it would get heated, but Ambers irrational fear of abandonment she just kept picking and picking. Every man has a breaking point.
His mother was lucky that her husband (Johnny's father) was quiet and docile. He just left. Johnny should have done the same way earlier. Had his mother or had Amber been with a man who would lash back, she/they would either be eating out of a straw for who knows how long or would have been found in a ravine. She, AH, is a TNUC of the highest caliber. An EVIL , manipulative, narcissist. Is she intelligent in her own way? Yes, but in the EVIL kind.

I basically had the same childhood my mom was abusive and my father was kind and quite but only difference was my parents had split when I was one.
I absolutely have always loved Johnny Depp. I'm also from Kentucky too so it makes me love him even more. He likes the same stuff music books and he's also very handsome and very intelligent man. I hope he learns from his mistake w Amber H. We all make mistakes it's part of life.

Agreed. Too many times, a man is falsely accused of abusing or shamed for speaking of any abuse towards him. People need to realize abuse can happen to males, as well!
My heart aches … For him to be so vulnerable is very difficult. I grew up in a abusive home physical and emotional and i know because I never went to therapy my life is beyond a mess.. So to hear him be that truthful and vulnerable I want to give him a hug.. Not because he’s Johnny Depp, just from one abused child to another .. ❤️
The more I see his deposition the more I see the man he is, he is such a lovely, regular, sweet guy, when I say regular is because the fame has not taken or changed who he is at heart. Very kind and soft spoken guy. Johnny I really hope you win this case because we all can see who you really are, even with your trouble with drugs, seeing you today we can see that you are a non violent person.

Heard goes around acting like an abused person and she didn't realize she was being abusive and then abused him more by telling everyone that he is abusive. Johnny Depp did the right thing. He told her to court. He could of stooped to her level but he decided to show how he was abused also if not more. Heard tried to defame him and I has had some bad effect on him. She should be ashamed to try to make hollywood think poorly of him.
She does realize she's abusive, she does it purposely as many audios show.

I have to admit I never really followed Johnny Depp except that one movie did he made with Marlon Brando and then I found that Brando considered him a friend and I kind of started to pay attention to two people demeanor when they were being interviewed and I fine Johnny Depp intruding especially now he has really caught my attention and captured my heart. This man must be redeemed he is a sweetheart of a human being with plenty of challenges friends and loved ones they can help him through these times and with his personal challenges justiceforjohnnydepp

A real man with a real life sitting in the witness box….. it’s easy to forget he’s also a celebrated actor. Under every celebrity there’s a real person. I’m appalled that this guy has been subjected to continued abuse by a woman with a board line personality disorder, who has manipulated the judicial system to her own ends. Well done Jonny for bearing your soul to bring this whole nasty situation to the world. I’m not disrespecting the woman but she must face her own demons to continue with a normal life with another relationship that can flourish to the end of her own life
A lot of the times BPD is the result of trauma, often from the person’s parents. That certainly doesn’t excuse toxic or abusive behavior, but sometimes it’s an explanation. I’m a therapist and, even though I haven’t kept up with this whole situation, I’m not so sure Amber Heard has BPD. From what I’ve seen, I think she does probably have one of the cluster B personality disorders and they do overlap quite a bit but I’m think it’s a different one. Histrionic or antisocial maybe. Idk, it’s impossible to know with being able to evaluate someone in person.
I've loved JD since 21 Jump Street and he's a genius actor. I surely do hope he receives justice.
JD so sorry you were railroaded by this person. You deserve a million times better with all the joy you have brought to others in your movies, demeanor and down home style. You think the good in others and don't turn or run them away until they have broke your trust. Sure you had your bad times as we all do in life but that was no reason for someone defame your honor, trust and love. We are with you JD no matter what happens and millions will walk beside you here on Earth and in Heaven. I knew I had sympathy for Johnny. I did not know we had very similar upbringing. I also am legally blind in my left eye and had to wear a patch. My mother also beat with anything in hand including her high heel. I was from a very young brief first marriage and my stepfather was insanely jealous of it and I was targeted. My whole life was spent trying to make my mother and others love me, all the while feeling unworthy. My kids are my salvation. I love them dearly and it gives me reason to go on. Boy, do I get this situation.
I'm sorry you had that happen to you. I'm the complete opposite; my Mama & Daddy were very loving & nurturing parents. I hope life is alot happier & freer for you.

I am grateful to hear his story. Not knowing anything about the case beforehand or him or her personally I had no idea who I thought was hiding the truth. After seeing trial footage and footage of AH acting out of character, I started to think JD was innocent. Then he said his mother was abusive and sadly things fell in place for me. When you think it's normal you tolerate it. She probably did love him possibly but her outlandish behavior pushed him away. I think it's sad he was in love then she seemed to change when things got comfortable, and sad that it was like it was too good to be true in the beginning. I've been there. I hope and pray JD gets a chance at real love and heals ❤️ and as for AH I tend to judge her but wish for soul healing and honesty. Good luck Johnny we love you ❤️ thank you for sharing your story. I think it means a lot to domestic violence survivors/ sufferers to hear the whole story so they can understand their own situation better.
I have mixed feelings about this testimony. I can really identify with him. But my conflict is, it is not fair for Him to have to share any of this in a public forum. This is something that should only be shared with a therapist.
In my opinion, shame on Amber for dragging it out in public.
I have no knowledge of the outcome but no one, celebrity or not, should ever have to expose these things in public.

I have so much sympathy for Johnny.! I believe him and his emotions to be true while I don’t have that same feeling when Amber gets on the stand. She’s faking her emotions and she’s very bad at it. I have always liked Johnny Depp as an actor. However, I do not believe this is acting. I have seen alot as a psychiatric nurse. I believe he is being truthful about his childhood. His actions speak volumes. His tendency to hide, to cope, to avoid conflict.. all signs of an adult traumatized as a child. He is merely just a human, like the rest of us..
Also, I believe the psychologist who diagnosed Amber Heard with bordeline personality disorder and with histrionic personality disorder. She exhibits the hallmark signs of both.
When you see enough people having mental health issues, you learn alot about manipulation tactics and the ones who generally are suffering.
Generally, the ones who suffer the most, are the ones not seeking excessive attention and they unfortunately, go unnoticed, and suffer alone.

How dear Johnny stayed with this woman is Beyond me . The abuse he took over and over and being slaved to loving her is so sad. Saying love is blind in this case proves it that love is blind . Johnny we love you and our prayers are with you.
So much power in what he's saying...there was never a sense of safety 💔 When it comes to parents, you have to find the balance to where you can be heard yet still be a safe haven for your kids. You can see all the repressed emotions/thoughts taking a toll on him as he speaks.

Although I am a great fan of Johnny Depp, I am from Eastern Kentucky and very proud of that fact. As he made a statemen About hollers and shacks, there were those that weren't as fortunate as others to live in more modern situations. I myself grew up in a 3room home. No indoor facilities or running water. We had an outdoor well. When I was 7 my father was able to have a knew home built with everything one needs in a home. I do not regret one thing about being raised this way. It makes one appreciate and work harder for a better future
