This video convinced me to buy the character 8 years late. At the time I didn’t even know this line existed. I came back to collector’s things in 2022 and recently found an offer for a complete Modulok Classic with box and everything. I had to watch some video to convince myself to buy at today prices… and here I am waiting for shipment. Thank you (or not 🤣) Pixel Dan.
whoever first conceived Modulok is a genius! only Multi-Bot (obviously) is the only other action figure i know of that can do all of this! i also love the blood red with lightly blended darker areas to accentuate his bodies. Score!
Loved MOTU in the 1980s still love it today wish I had my collection back iui d love to have all of these Classics characters always wanted to get the She Ra line
A great review of an update to one of my favourite and most entertaining toys! I remember I bought a few packs of Modulok plus 1 pack of Multi-Bot and the limitless combinations and a childhood imagination did the rest!
*I got the original modulock for Christmas back in 1989 when I was like 5. Me and my cousin Frank Fiora used to make all kinds of weird shapes out of him at our house at 26 West Ridley ave. in Norwood, Pa.*
I really need to get a Modulok got my daughter, classics or vintage... It looks so much fun and I had one as a kid- I remember when I was given it, but can't remember if it wad complete or not. I had a vast MOTU collection with duplicates of many figures, but I never had any packaging for them and assume every single one was second hand. Not that that was an issue. Anyway this figure is a great idea and would do wonders for a child and their imagination!
Never got this one back in the day, and to be honest -it never really got me that much interested to begin with, but this MOTU classics re-creation is definitely cool.
About time you got to this guy. The fanfare for me died weeks ago. He's still a cool figure and it'll be difficult to top him as my toy of the year. After getting him I wanted the vintage version so I bought one off of eBay with the mini-comic. If I had him as a kid he might have topped Man-E-Faces as my favorite MOTU figure. I have little to no need to do that with Two-Bad. Not that Two-Bad is, well bad. He, like most of these figures, is just not impressive. They also could've given us another three clawed arm for that Filmation look.
I loved, loved, loved the vintage Modulok as a kid and freaked when I finally found one on clearance at the grocery store! But almost immediately afterward, I started wondering how this guy could ever possibly work in real life. Multi-Bot I can suspend disbelief on, because he's an electro-mechanical construct. But Modulok is supposed to be organic, complete with internal organs. How does a red chunk that was his abdomen with guts inside just a moment ago, turn around and become a neck, or an elbow, or a bum? It really sucked growing up and maturing too early. I wanted to keep enjoying my MOTU just a little while longer...
When I first saw this figure, I assumed the character be a rip-off of Two-Bad...until I saw what his features were like after seeing this video for myself.
+Rocky I might be off by $5, but I'm sure that the original cost about as much as Optimus Prime, or a Skystriker (quite a bit for an 80s kid, esp. compared to a Battle Armor He-Man or Hordak).

One of my fave MotU bad Guys ♥ I had the old one for sure, lol ... but I loved playing with him!!! Thanks for the great Review, Dan! Vanessa
I had the original - 2 copies, and it held up well enough that my kid loves him too! Absolute favorite! I'd love to get ahold of this latest version!
If you bought multiples of these, can you imagine the combos you can make? Mind-boggling fig!
HEAD IN THE BUTT ! Great cameo by Shartimus Prime. And great review of a great figure Pixel Dan. Happy Birthday !
Cool! I need to buy this newer version. I have the original from the 80s.
'Bout time you got to him, Dan!
Happy Birthday!!! :D
I loved playing with the original Modulok as a kid ... he looks so much better now!

I have the original, plus an extra head, he is really groovy!
Fingers crossed for Multi-Bot in 2015!
Seeing Modulok, I wish Filmation should've had an episode where Modulok vs Too-Bad.
Never got this one back in the day, and to be honest -it never really got me that much interested to begin with, but this MOTU classics re-creation is definitely cool.
You must've been into Barbies.
Great review, Dan!! :D

Multibot has organic heads so they're real beings with a machine body.
Original Modulok wasn't articulated... not sure if you mentioned that
He is basically MOTUC Lego!😂
A Shartimus Easter Egg!
A little question, to whom belong the two dragons head you show in the clip?
See you soon.
Guido.
+Guidogregotti Dargon Blaster Skeletor's pet Dragon (left) and Draego-Man (right)
this must have been a nightmare to design, but it looks well done.

modulak.. modulak.. modulak..
hahaha shartimusprime!
i dont know why i think i saw this review before....
i guess i was wrong...
I thought he'd done the Glimmer review before she went on sale.
I would get him if he wasn't so expensive. $60 plus!

Keep thinking of Spider-man turn into Man-spider
Why simply go biped when you can go triped?
