Hi @ayyappanmani7669. There are no such rules. Even string can be a clustered index. But again it will be based on your requirements and scenarios. If most of the queries are based on string search, it will be beneficial to have a string column as clustered index. But remember, this will impact the performance of insert/update operations when you are dealing with a large volume of data.
