That stuff is not only not on the average person's list of casual conversation topics but it also requires at least one course in college-level genetics, for crying out loud. And then, she whipped out the title of Bessel Van Der Kolk's "The Body Keeps the Score" at the drop of a hat. I mean, damn. That is one of the finest things written in the last generation on the somatic impact of trauma. And, not to put too fine a point on it, but she's absolutely gorgeous. Who saw her bath scene in "Altered Carbon"? That was burned into my brain. I won't forget it for a long, long time. Thank goodness! 😍
