There was still one more obstical in his path, so "I did not come all this way just to die here" is refering to right now by Mitsu's blade, because he's yet to break his curse and so he'll just reincarnate and be back at square 1 again if he lets himself die at this moment.
I had no idea you revisited Mitsurugi's Night Terror route with his Soul Edge weapon. Does this mean you plan to redo Zasalamel, Rock, and Sophitia's paths to Night Terror as well?

Namco From Soul Calibur IV La Cago The Soul Calibur V Was A Fiasco In Certain Aspects Similar To SoullCalibur III And The Reboot Soul Calibur VI Is Good But It Does Not Have The Introduction Or The Endings That Soul Calibur I, SoulCalibur II Had Soul Calibur III And SoulCalibur IV. I Personally Hoped Soul Calibur VI Had Tale Of Souls Like Soul Calibur III They Could Have Added It In This Latest Delivery But They Didn't But I Hope To See More Interesting Characters Like Rock, Edge Masters Olcadan Le Long, Arthur Not An Emulation Of Mitsirugi And I Hope That In the next installment, apart from the story mode, add all those modes in special the Tales Of Soul and that they recap well Soul Calibur II and Soul Calibur III.

I think he meant "losing here against you" he probably wants to die by his own hands instead of getting killed by somebody
