    For your poly or paint cans, drill 3 or 4 tiny holes where the lid goes down into so your finish will drain back down into the can.

    If you actually want to save money, use LED lights *NOT* the CFLs. The CFLs have a small continuous electrical draw, which can add up. This is especially problematic if your home is wired to go the fixture before going to the switch. Replacing all of the CFLs in my home dropped my electric by about 10/mo., that was not changing the amount of time I had lights on.

      True, everyone of the CFLDs I've had, dim down and eventually stopped working with in a year. The LEDs are still going strong after many years.
