In regards of beds. I've always interpreted the bed logging as that you will de-spawn from the universe. So there are a plethora of reason bed logging is preferred. Your ship despawns, making sure you don't get killed while offline, you get a well rested bonus, and of course, it's nice and immersive.
I'd really prefer it to be done this way. If you, for example, alt+tab in a Landing Zone, Space Station, or on a ship that you either own or are in a party with the owner with, you'd automatically be put into a bed and get a rested bonus. If everyone is logged out in a bed on a ship, that ship will eventually despawn if there is nobody around after a few moments. Meanwhile, if you alt+tabbed out in the wilderness on some planet or in a ship that doesn't have a bed, no bonus and your body and ship will persist and potentially be messed with.
There are plenty of things they could do with beds aside from just an immersion feature for logging out. Safety log out, as you mentioned, but also being able to switch between other characters/avatars that you have. Maybe you can play multiple characters at a time, having one on a friend's ship as a crew member, and when they are not around you can bed log and change to another character that you use to play when you are solo, etc. Rested Bonuses - you have more stamina (to sprint for longer, or perhaps tolerate more G-Forces) and your food and drink deplete slower for a period of time after logging out in a bed. Doesn't have to be too extreme, but enough to make it worth it to head to a bed if you are going to be offline for more than a few hours. Requirements for charter flights or NPC crew: Players may not care much about beds, but NPCs probably do. If you use your 890J to charter a flight, having beds as an amenity might allow you to take missions that cater to clientele that will pay more for the luxury (in the form of bonus payments, or maybe a requirement that your ship has a bed to even qualify for accepting the charter). Same if you have NPCs to crew your turrets, they will require a place to sleep and eat on board if they are to be sticking around for longer than a few hours. Some ships also have the beds double as escape pods, so they are functional beyond just a way to log out.
I'm just hoping they add camp sites/tents etc that the player can deploy, thinking way back to Star Wars galaxies there was something kind of cool and immersive when we and my friends set up a campsite in the middle of tatooine when we were exploring for some bonus, bit of music etc.

The best thing about your guides is they do not tell people to buy an avenger titan. People still say this old piece of out of date advice from way back when we could not buy ships in game. In the current game, you can get a titan pretty cheaply and easily, and you can rent ships like the Connie and cutlass black with in game credits. Spending extra money is not needed. Can I play this game if I have no friends?
Short answer yes. I play solo all the time but joining a ORG and hopping in chat on discord with all your buddies and doing things together ingame is very fun and immersive.
Everyone who has 16gb.listen out. you need to upgrade 32gb!!it's like playing different pc. yes my pc is low end but new. and 16gb was terrible. but 32gb if you don't watch fps it's feels good. even cities. but. metros still is 15fps 😂
👍
this patch is more buggy than 3.22, i can't even fly my hornet without my wings getting locked folded in after i deploy landing gears. such a disappointment.
Just need a little bit more patience.
Give it time. This is an insanely complex “game” and effort. Ther will be initially some issues and patches soon
also the EVA!!!
