    Thank you for this review, as I am interested in getting this tire and was waiting to see how it did.

    You need different lighting for these videos, can't see the tires well at all in the dark.

      GoatRoper911 I moved out of my parents place finally, which had a 2,500 sqft shop out back. Sadly, I’m now in a three car garage that needs some work 😂

    Just wondering which tire you would recommend for someone who only rides on a very hard clay based dirt. The OEM 3S tires that came with the bike are clearly wearing extremely fast, and it sure isn't because I'm riding fast. Grew up riding sand at tracks like Southwick, so this hard dirt is new to me.

    • @MichaelLindsay
      @MichaelLindsay  5 лет назад +1

      The MX3S is a sot to intermediate tire so it wears very quickly on hardpack. Try out this new MX53 on the front, what state are you riding in now?

    • @ableto1121
      @ableto1121 5 лет назад

      @@MichaelLindsay
      I am in Texas now. Thinking of trying to get some sand and mix it in with the clay to try and get something a little softer than concrete. For a soft terrain tire, the MX3S has impressed me with its performance, but I need something which will last a lot longer. I will give the MX53 a shot and see how it handles, and if it will survive this dirt. Thanks for the answer, and please keep the videos coming.

    • @Eddiep80

      Because one we have tons of rocks. Two, much less moisture. And three we like to haul ass out west. Like that shit hard packed hahaha

    I am not big on bling or advertising decals but like the raised yellow letters , for close to 100 bucks why don't we get them?

    • @MichaelLindsay
      @MichaelLindsay  5 лет назад +2

      Emil Opffer it’s a special sticker that’s expensive to make and washes off after a ride or two or discolors badly. It’s for marketing purposes at the races.

      @@chazzgonzalez1356 If you're running Dunlops, I'd go MX33 rear and MX52 front. If you're running Michelin I'd go Starcross 5 medium both front and rear, or maybe try their soft rear. As for Pirelli...MX32 Pro in the rear, and I haven't found a front with them that I'm totally happy with.

      @@chazzgonzalez1356 I run the Starcross Medium's and love them! They last much longer than the Dunlops and I personally like the feel. They aren't as tall and I feel like the Dunlops have very tall center with short side lugs that feel odd rolling from side to side.
