As a fellow educator-I’m an English teacher who has taught since 1986-I hope and pray that you and Kamala get into office and put an end to school shootings. Once again, I find myself in the pit of fear and despair because of the shooting in Georgia. Just hours after it happened, one of my fourteen year old students exploded in a fit of rage when I told him to sit down. Please! I want to keep teaching for another ten years but these shootings terrify me. I live in rural Idaho where far too many people own guns. After yesterday, I’m sapped.
