    Thank you for sharing the precise measurement and frequency of using miracle grow in the garden. Thank you for also explaining how to use each side of the measuring spoon.

    Use the big tablespoon if you water plants regularly.
    Use the small teaspoon for houseplants that are watered infrequently.
    By my guess is what miracle gro means by indoor /outdoor.
    Used the teaspoon on a watermelon growing indoors and leaves weren't as lush.
    After applying the tablespoon, now have a beautiful dark green color producing fruit.

    I cut out the mixing step and simply sprinkle the tablespoon side of the blue fertilizer stuff on the ground around the base of the plant then water it in as usual

    • @adiidi
      @adiidi 2 месяца назад

      They tell you to dilute it because it’s concentrated and the nutrients can easily burn the roots. You can actually just buy a slow release fertilizer like MiracleGro Shake n feed thats meant to be sprinkled on the ground 😅

  • @siulau7498
    @siulau7498 4 года назад +8

    I use miracle gro too but just for them to go from small seedlings to larger plants as it seems to be a good foliar feed to add leaf mass while darkening up leaves. After the plants get big already it seems to be more feasible to use something that lasts in the ground longer such as espoma 4-3-3 or any other pelleted fertilizers which break down slowly to help with production.

    The large end of the included scoop is 1.5 Tablespoons, but I go light and feed a little more often anyway. If you're just learning this video is good but be careful I use a little more water and a little less MG and feed bi-weekly so I can watch the plants throughout hot days for Nitrogen Burn which can BURN everything I've done since starting my seeds indoors 4 Months ago. Also, wait a month to start if using MG Potting Soil if it has food in it.

    I can easily mix some blue beads in a watering can, but putting dry beads in the sprayer reservoir defies logic. I didn't see any blue water coming from the sprayer in the video.

    • @mhgardener5945

      I wouldn’t use both at same time. I know fish fertilizers are better than other chemical fertilizers but use one at a time is ideal.

      Hi! yes I do use fertilizer with compost, because compost doesn't really have whole lot of nutritrants to grow more vegetables. So produce more vegies fertilizer is necessary

    You dont really need the wooden raised bed if you're not going to fill the bed with soil. In ground is fine no need for the wood.
