Be vigilant gambian people, be very vigilant! This situation can still turn bad as your country is still sore from the wound that was your former president.

This was the darkest day in Gambian history as the country is been recolonize d not by Britain but by a lesser power in Senegal, this is always the result of of citizenry that seems to support politicians on tribal lines no matter their performance

Why do West African countries care so much for the Gambia? im sure they have their own interests there and didn't just do this for the sake of the Gambian people, right?

Nothing more than attempting to normalise smooth democratic transition, which affects all African nations.

Because this could have turned into a civil war which is bad for the whole of ECOWAS.

Imagine if Gambia erupted into a Civil War. It'll be similar to the Arab Springs, indirectly affecting its neighbors. Additionally, the people voted him out in a clear and fair ballot.
