Phil, Rockne and Chris checkout and ride one of the most unique hydrofoil boards for 2017...the Simulator from Slingshot. With its entire 5'6" length covered in EVA foam it is pretty interesting.

Hi guys, big fan of these info videos etc. BIG question, I really like the slingshot foils for flight school purposes etc, BUT i cant afforad to justify buying another board also. I have an airush sector 60 v3 (it has tuttle boxes and a thruster tuttle postion in the back. Would this work for a foil with a tuttle mount? OR i see slighshot are in the process of bringing a tuttle based windsurf foil out. Could this work? I also have a deep tuttle boxed Naish venturi raceboard. could either board work? ANY info appreciated as you guys are truely the experts. Thanks guys :)
Thanks for the comment and question! This is a good one. Unless the board is specifically designed for foiling the tuttle placement (designed for fins) will be too far aft. The Windsurfers make up for this by extending the fuselage so that the center of effort is far enough forward to balance with the foil. The Sector 60 with the FoilMount is perfect for foiling...in fact we just did an install on a similar race board here: ruclips.net/video/T370wxKKg6Q/видео.html
I would suggest doing the Foilmount Standard on the Sector 60. Hope that helps!

We will have a solution to the Hydrofoil expense problem coming out in about 1 month. Stay tuned!! Thanks for the comment, hydrofoil gear is expensive I agree. The good stuff works well however and is worth the price compared to less expensive boards like the LF which are really wake surfing boards etc. We are going to do a full hydrofoil board line up review so you'll be able to see all the differences between many of the boards out there.
Sweet, I'm looking forward to it. I'm watching more and more of your channel and I appreciate the info. I'm learning on the LF stuff right now and so far no complaints... already had the board and the foil is bulletproof. 2nd day out and I was able to get on-foil a bunch of time and got some "flights" in.
