Thank you for your comment! You're so right that there is still so much stigma but the more of us who speak our truth, the better the world is going to be
Yes definitely thank you for being open. I had just came out as bisexual and was at a meet up group for LGBT women and one of them made a very offensive joke about bisexuals. I was stunned and heartbroken. For the LGBTQ+ community to have prejudices from within makes no sense and is just sad.
If your partner's sexuality is affecting your relationship, sorry, but it's a you problem. Straight people don't stop being straight the second they get married. Bisexual people don't stop being attracted to one gender just because they are married to another. If you have trust and open communication, which you should in a healthy relationship, it really shouldn't matter whatsoever who someone finds attractive. As a bisexual woman, that question confused the hell out of me. It's literally never been an issue in my marriage. It's not even something we have ever had to discuss. We are in monogamous relationship so male or female it really doesn't matter I'm not sleeping with anyone but my husband 🤷♀️
Yup, as an bi sexual individual I've also experienced many assumptions about my commitment to my partner. The trope of the "unfaithful bisexual" or the "sex hungry bisexual" is getting old and harmful. Thank you Levi and Leah for always being open and educating! Great video as always
B 2H What a great response! If you are monogamous, that's it! Who you are attracted to would or should have nothing to do with it and if that's an an issue then there sure would be a problem. I'm a straight female but wow, I just thought that was such an amazing response and you said it perfectly.
To me, as a parent, the key to having less toys is to have open-ended toys. Our house ended up very accidentally Montessori. We have a lot of open-ended, wooden toys. I feel like if you have a ton of toys that only serve one purpose then you are going to naturally end up with more toys. By having open ended toys like blocks, scarves, different sized buckets, etcetera really the options are only limited by a child's creativity. You would be amazed how many things can double as roads, bridges, and houses
@@Jay-tx4fx we don't necessarily follow Montessori principles exactly, but her toys have just ended up quite Montessori. I'm not running a school, it's just our home. Children are creative by nature. Ive just given her toys that foster that. It's funny because the toys that we think would be boring are usually the closed-ended toys but they are the ones that get the most use and for the longest time. She has a couple of light up, one trick toys and they get about five minutes of use before she throws them aside
Yes! I love this idea! My dad let me play with chunks of wood and stuff in the shop growing up and I feel like that's such a creative way for play to occur.
In no mean do I want to compare children to animals, but I have observed the same thing with for my cat: he never played once with the store-bought toys, he only plays with paper balls or corks or strings hanging from our clothes, and the same goes for all his fluffy cussions: he only enjoys laying in cardboard boxes (and our sofa, sometimes!)
Two separate weddings (a legal, small wedding and a public celebration) was way less stressful for me and my husband. The idea that the big event doesn't have to go absolutely perfect because the legal aspects are already fulfilled takes a huge weight off the "big" day itself.
Eco friendly (trying at least) parent here and let me tell you about toy culture: kids play with the stuff a couple times and then get bored. My kids' favourite toys are sticks, stones and feathers. We also pick up toys in recycling centres and we get our books from the library. So little environmental impact and cheap.
WOW, this was an interesting Q&A. Congratulations on being so open it definitely adds a human component. As for kids, it’s hard not to bring home toys for them but we found while raising our daughter that experiences really were more impactful than toys. We gave up a lot to put our daughter in a private school and to take trips to places like NY for a Broadway show, Hawaii for school trip, Disneyland... Plus we supported her in theater, softball and volleyball. Basically, spend time with them but don’t be helicopter parents and there is a good chance they will turn out to be normal.
I love the commitment to agreeing to your values in different stages of life with the admission that there will always be unexpected challenges to them. I feel like when people consider alternative lifestyles these unexpected scenarios discourage them from even starting and I love that by making those admissions you make being eco friendly and kore low waste more accessible. Love your Chanel!
If you're looking for a place to start with eco-friendly housing, you could start in Squamish - there is at least on community/neighborhood I know of that lives completely off grid in the mountains there. Solar or individual hydro power, and water directly from a nearby river etc. Hopefully that helps in some way

Yes, I agree with Levi and Leah as well as you Emma. I live here in the U.S. and I am shook by the state of the nation. Yes, absolutely go and vote! :)
Bisexual does mean that she would be attracted to more people than me as a straight woman(example only, I do find women attractive, I’m still not sure what that means). But obviously if one is attracted to both sexes has more options than somebody who’s attracted to one sex.
"Yes to nuclear" YES! We need to invest research into advancing fission and making fusion viable. Also more research into other nuclear fuels such as thorium and more work on extraction palladium from the spent fuel. Nuclear has the potential to replace all the fossil fuels and allow more traditional green energy be a viable solution without the need for gigawatts worth of battery storage. Really enjoy the channel! Thanks!
Levi made a great point about how we need many energy sources! Although I love that nuclear reduces foreign oil dependence, I think that the environmental downsides of nuclear greatly overshadow the positives.
Canada is probably good at that, I would prefer if Japan could scale offshore wind (population density, natural disaster, storage logistics). It's actually embarrassing to admit it took 3 major upheavals for germany to get 40% under 1990s CO2 output, our recycling rate could be as bad as 16% (not including compost and energy directed combustion) but knowing the trend is all ready leaning the way I want, acceleration should continue, I certainly push.

As a mom of three kids now 21, 18, and 15, I can assure you that you don't need all that stuff. Kids are amazingly creative and imaginative with whatever is available and they want to do real things they see adults doing like play with containers and ingredients in the kitchen. I didn't buy those huge fancy strollers. I wore my babies in the Maya Wrap sling. I received a crib as a gift but rarely used it; my babies slept with me. I used cloth diapers instead of disposable. When they played with friends, they ran around in a make believe world hardly using any toys, talking to each other, developing the storyline. on a side note, I am SO excited to listen to Leah's podcast! I love discussing and learning about sexual health and sexuality. probably gonna binge all 10 episodes in one sitting
I was so excited to learn that Leah was studying/ works in sexual health! I am working on my Masters in Sexual health now and am very excited to see where it takes me :)
You are soo cute together! I love your way of talking, way of thinking, I am always in the mood for a Levi & Leah video! I wish you more weddings and stunning years together!
I really enjoyed this video! You both are awesome people and I am sure a lot of good things are coming to you, I will definitely stay tuned to see it And of course thanks Leah for your honesty and openness, I believe there are a lot of bisexual people in the world who just are afraid to say it because of what others think and I think you and your podcast will help a lot of people to accept themselves and enjoy their sexuality, thank you!
I bet you guys will do a good job at raising your kids the way you described!!! My husband and I just live our lives as we do - eco-friendly habits and all - and our daughter has just picked up on it!
Thank you for this video. Just love your plan to have a sustainable house one day. That has been my dream as well and I hope to be able to achieve this . Living in Toronto during times of covid has really changed my perspective and I want to be surrounded by nature and become more self sufficient.
I wish you luck with not having toys in the house! XD Kids are going to be influenced by the kids around them, which is a good thing! It is also a good thing to expose them to different types of play and different types of toys. My brother and sister in law said the exact same thing as you, but ended up going more the route of 1 in 1 out system. I my niece has learned that if she wants a new toy or book that she has to say bye to an older one. I can't wait to see what you do!
I can’t wait to know every detail if you build a sustainable house! This has been my project too since I’ve seen 4 ocean building one with plastic bottles! Now, there’s a ton more than that, but it was incredibly inspiring! As for the bidet, being a nomad Italian...I suffer! I wish all countries had it! How is it possible that your followers don’t know what Leah’s podcast is about???? Shame in them! I love it 🥰
Your videos are the highlight of every weekend!! Do you guys have your wedding on the same day every year? It's honestly the cutest thing i've ever heard, and actually makes so much more sense than traditional one time weddings!
Thanks Paige! We don't do it on the same weekend because things often change but the next one will be in my hometown so we can celebrate with a whole new community of people. 🙋🏻♂️
Freedom and a free market economy are not a downfall, they are a strength. Freedom allows people to lose or gain by their own personal choices. Communism and socialism are terrible systems of governance because a very small group of people aka politicians make the major life decisions for a larger group of people. A free market economy or capitalism is based on freedom and communism/socialism is based on force. If you look at the poor countries around the world they are typically communistic or socialistic. Free market economies typically give people a much higher and healthier standard of living.
Man, most of us Americans are pessimistic about the future of America lol. Also, I’m totally here for the sustainable home series in our future 😍 And my husband and I also love our bidet (if anyone reading this is thinking of getting one, do it!) Congrats to Dr. Leah on completing her PhD!
@@LeahandLevi Thank you. I love your channel you created and the ideas you share to save the planet. It's just great positivity to spread around the community. Chris from Los Angeles, CA.
Very nice video! One of the kindest things I did for myself after I re-connected with an old boyfriend (We're friends, now. That's it.) was to start reading love/sex/relationship books and blogs. I'm still not a regular podcast listener, but I think I might check out "The Love Doctor" soon.
I would love to see how you both work towards earth friendly parenting! I have yet to become a parent but when I do I want to be as eco conscious as possible and I have been saving eco friendly baby links so I will be somewhat prepared. But I would love to know what kind of bottles you buy, diapers, etc.
Levi Hildebrand what I did learn was that simplicity and wooden and open ended toys worked best with the little ones. Once you’re ready for the parenting journey, I recommend looking at places like BellaLuna Toys (they have a RUclips channel) and places who stock Waldorf and Montessori toys. Not only do children love them, they’re also educational.
I met my husband on a blind date. And I live in the States, and I'm way, way left and so frustrated that my fellow Democrats bring knives to Republican gunfights.
How do you think you can replace fossil fuels when even renewables are made with fossil fuel byproducts and are manufactured in plants using fossil fuels and are transported in vehicles that run on fossil fuels (even electric vehicles are manufactured with and from fossil fuels and fossil fuel byproducts)? We homestead, run on solar, use passive water collection run on a gravity system, grow 90% of our food using permaculture practices, heat and cook with wood, use a root cellar thereby reducing our electric draw, can, ferment, etc.., There are so many things that people can do to reduce their carbon footprint, but sadly most won't because it is a lot of work to change their lifestyle.
I met my now wife on tinder. Didn't actually think that tinder would work but hey. We got a little girl and are very happy. Actually looking to move from Quebec to Nelson right now. Any advice?
Fairly local Family- vlog is good to check out for low waste family living with new born & family with children of different ages. It is possible. Good luck.
In your opinion would it be better to have a product produced with normal carbon-intensive practices that last 10+ years, or an eco friendly produced product that only lasts 3-5 years?
@@LeahandLevi I ask because of a company called vollebak, they aren't terribly eco friendly but they make gear they tote will last 100 years and "outlive you"

Thanks for your thoughts on what the USA is going through now politically. I often joke with my sister that if Trump gets re-elected for another 4 years, I am moving to Canada. It is becoming less and less a joke. You are right in that "freedom" is destroying the sense of community and that whole mask, no mask, notion demonstrates this. We are grouping ourselves into camps but not in a healthy way. I am exhausted with everything at this point and wish I can escape from it all. Your videos are a breath of fresh air...sorry for all the smoke coming your way. Love you guys!

+1: the segment about having a bisexual partner is so comforting because that's exactly how I feel about it too
Thnaks guys, I'm so happy to have you in my life :)
Absolutely great video...truly enjoy them, their content and the relationship between the 2 of you. Always makes me smile 😊😊😊
Thanks so much, great to have you on the team!
on a side note, I am SO excited to listen to Leah's podcast! I love discussing and learning about sexual health and sexuality. probably gonna binge all 10 episodes in one sitting
That’s awesome! She will be so stoked to hear that! You can also submit questions via voice memo to her podcast email!
Yay! I'm excited for you to listen! Like Levi said, if you have any questions, send a voice memo to thelovedoctorpodcast@gmail.com
Okay the idea of multiple weddings is so cute and so important!
I was so excited to learn that Leah was studying/ works in sexual health! I am working on my Masters in Sexual health now and am very excited to see where it takes me :)
You should check out her podcast! She’s currently doing her sexual health educator training and she’ll be sharing some of her experience!
@@LeahandLevi That's awesome! I've been meaning to check her podcast out. I hope to learn some tips from someone a bit further along than I am.
You are soo cute together! I love your way of talking, way of thinking, I am always in the mood for a Levi & Leah video! I wish you more weddings and stunning years together!
Thank you so much!! ❤️❤️❤️
I really enjoyed this video! You both are awesome people and I am sure a lot of good things are coming to you, I will definitely stay tuned to see it
And of course thanks Leah for your honesty and openness, I believe there are a lot of bisexual people in the world who just are afraid to say it because of what others think and I think you and your podcast will help a lot of people to accept themselves and enjoy their sexuality, thank you!
This was great! Thanks for sharing y’all’s life with us!
My question got picked, OMG! Love it!
Thanks for sending it in!
I bet you guys will do a good job at raising your kids the way you described!!!
My husband and I just live our lives as we do - eco-friendly habits and all - and our daughter has just picked up on it!
That is awesome! Thanks for the words of encouragement!
Im a canadian trucker 35 years long haul. Theres more conveniences in USA truck stops ! But flyin j is catching Canada up.
Just a question that popped in my head because of the 3 weddings: Do you celebrate 3 anniversaries then as well? 😅😂
Haha Leah is way better at keeping track of all of them but in general... no. We celebrate one because that would be crazy lol
Love this video! And especially love Leah's necklace! So awesome. Am going to try and get a custom one made!
she actually got this from a friend who made it herself!
Love everything about you both! Live your life ✨️ 🙌🏼
I appreciate the time stamps in the video description 🎉👏
“we have experimented in the past and it is.... fun🥴” 😂😂
3 sum lolol
Thank you for this video. Just love your plan to have a sustainable house one day. That has been my dream as well and I hope to be able to achieve this . Living in Toronto during times of covid has really changed my perspective and I want to be surrounded by nature and become more self sufficient.
Yes that's what we have thought too but financially it's pretty tough. Fingers crossed it all works out!
Colorado here. You’re speaking truth.
I love it 🥰
I couldnt agree more. my girlfriend and I met playing hockey and we are so thankful we got the IRL love story.
I'm very thankful that you have your video sectioned off by question.
Wow, I hope that you guys can get coverage for all of this. How frustrating with your contactor not finishing everything!!! Hang in there you guys.
Thanks Donna!
This video was so cute and amusing and omg I just love you guys!
Ahh this was such a cool, fun and informative video!
Glad you liked it!!
A nice way to start my morning. :) Got through it all :D
Morning! So touched to hear this Danie! Hope you're doing great!
Free market economies typically give people a much higher and healthier standard of living.
love love love this video! thanks for sharing :)
Love the future housing idea, i hope that works out and that we all get to come along for the ride. 🤙
Honestly she's right, Levi is a good looking dood. Better looking than me 😂
If we could figure out fusion, problem solved. But as there will be no problems, obviously a new one would pop up tho! 😅
Leah’s necklace is so cool!!!! Is there a link to purchase one anywhere?
It's actually hand made by a friend of hers! (so unfortunately no 😭)
Great and personal topic. Love that. Where can I find Dr. Leah’s podcast?
Link is in the description for spotify but if you search "the love doctor" in whatever podcast app you use it should come up 👍🏻

Thank you. I love your channel you created and the ideas you share to save the planet. It's just great positivity to spread around the community. Chris from Los Angeles, CA.
Holy Crap! I never knew you were a wedding videographer, Levi! I hope you guys do decide to have a 4th wedding/vow renewal!!
I hope so too! haha
When you build your house you should plant a ton of trees everywhere
Hi guys! Fantastic video. So interesting and fun! Thanks for sharing yourselves. ❤
Thanks for watching! ❤️
As a mom of two, I am totally on board with your thoughts about the insanity of toy culture!
Well that both makes me feel good and worse haha.
Any advice?
Thats great to hear! You're going to love Nelson! Check out our moving out video for moving tips! ruclips.net/video/f1EyPBvma9c/видео.html
Fairly local Family- vlog is good to check out for low waste family living with new born & family with children of different ages. It is possible. Good luck.
If you need an electrician for this sustainable home I can be there to help! I love the way earthships are made and built with community
In your opinion would it be better to have a product produced with normal carbon-intensive practices that last 10+ years, or an eco friendly produced product that only lasts 3-5 years?
Depends on what it is of course and what ratio of carbon? Hard question to answer but I would assume the one that lasts longer generally?
@@LeahandLevi I ask because of a company called vollebak, they aren't terribly eco friendly but they make gear they tote will last 100 years and "outlive you"
might subscribe to the patreon! What other content do you guys do over there?
A monthly secret podcast, early access to videos, exclusive BTS content and random updates about the backend of me running the youtube channel and what stuff is coming down the pipeline! Link is in the description if you're keen!
@@LeahandLevi I just joined your patreon! hope to keep supporting your awesome work Levi!
Don’t kid yourself, it’s happening here as well
Looking forward to seeing how the "Five Year Plan" will actually pan out :)
I'd love to hear if you think Canada has a sufficient military or if they rely too much on the US.
I am not sure, if you looked into canadian military results this past year but would like to point out that the reports lack terrorists taking their murderous rampages as inspiration.
Eco-friendly parenting. So much can be thrifted! Also cloth diapers and minimalism.
We decided not to get too deep into it because it is such a toxic topic right now but I am wishing you the best!
Funfact : you can't breath while smiling
Lol you can just wanted you to smile ily and have a great day ♥️
Ps . I also make yt videos and my goal is to reach 1k and hope it happens soon
got me
I never wonder about peoples personal lives. Privacy is valuable.
What did Levi meant by 'experienced in the past'?
Make video on that.
I love that Leah is so seen and accepted in her relationship :) I selfishly wish Levi was bisexual too, though, cause damn he's cute. Haha.
What would happen if you didn't say "I do" one time? lol does the previous marriage(s) overrule? Is that a divorce? Annulment?? 👀
Would you say building your future home to make it eco is more expensive than buying a house already built and turning it eco? Wouldn't that be worse buildong a home? No hate though
Yeah I said “build” but we have really no idea what’s going to happen. Much research to be done!
Yes to nuclear??
You know she’s the right one if she looks at you like Levi’s wife looks at him.
D'awww
Thank you for properly address the female body part vulva when talking about the bidet. So many people say it incorrectly! Love a bidet when you have your period it is so nice.
I love them.
Bidets are great. In my country, they’re treasured lmao.
Yeah, most white girls claim that.
It's a way for them to appropriate culture without actually doing anything or risking criticism.
