I agree! Been on here for an hour and cannot find a simple solution to how to print off a double sided page! I have a newsih HP 6234 printer. I know it will do it but I cannot see how. The icons mean nothing to me and there's nowhere to find out it seems!! Arrrgghhhh!!!

Thank you for HP video on RUclips regarding double page printing. I followed the instructions on my W10, for my HP pro 7740. (used only twice for 6 copies). My computer is a top Gamers computer. All works well. We had no trouble installing the HP printer.
To be sure that the changes you suggested on the video were applied,... I restarted the computer, restarted the printer.
I tried again to print a double page, using the images of 4 pages on each side, customizing and using advance settings.
the printer was set on paper size 'Statement', and it look good on the 'previo image' with the whole 4 pages text sped out evenly.
But I got two separated pages, one upside down and both text smaller than what the previo image show.
Please advise what else can be done?

In HP 4004 printer I have to print from the 2nd tray, single side or double side print. If we use A4 paper then everything is fine but when we use letterhead then all the settings change. If we move the paper to fix single side then at that time single side print gets fine but double side print gets spoiled. If double side is fixed then the settings of single side print page will get spoiled. HP you correct this thing and one more thing if we should print A4 print on single side, front side or back side, we should be able to set the pages. This option should be given to the printer driver. And add one more thing that if there is a 4 page pdf then we should be able to manage the top side in it such that the top side of the print remains upper
Solved my issue. My duplex M283cdw would only do manual duplex because somehow a printer advanced property got set to "duplexer unit not installed". I don't know how that happened but HP Smart was no help at all.

Hello, I need help. I have been wanting to an automatic duplex printer for forever and my mom was gifted one from her friend that no longer needed it. It is the HP Photosmart c5580 All-in-One. (the c5500 series) Anyways, I set it up to my Macbook Pro and the software option it has is the Generic PCL Laser Print software. It supports Duplexer but when I go to print it does not work. Does this printer not have the ability to two side print?
Also when I go to print from a powerpoint slide, the two sided box to click on appears next to "copies" but yet it does not print front and back on one page.

Well, in this video it looks like they are using Win XP which is pretty darn ancient now. Windows 10 is very different.

+Bangladesh Mahila Parishad If you are talking about a driver setting then you have to open the printers dialog box and set the printer driver global properties. In Windows 8 I would click on the Windows icon on the bottom left of the screen and then start typing devices and printers. Citizen printers appeared in the search list I would click on it to open the devices and printers dialog box. Then I would right click on the printer and about half way down the list that appeared I would select printer properties, there's another similar entry at the bottom of the list but you want the one halfway down with the word printer in it. Once you open that dialog box you can click on the tabs and change settings and then apply them and those will become the default settings for all the other applications.

This is such a great video, a little too fast, had to watch about 10 times, however, this isn't for windows 10 at all. Could a new video like this be recorded for windows 10 environment, please! I can't turn the id copy off permanently on my 8600 office jet Pro. and don't know how to get into the windows 10 area to make this correction . I've called HP support but they want to take control of the computer and I have gmail not email and they don't know how to take control in gmail so I'm back to trying to get into my windows 10 on my own. I actually need to STOP printing two-sided. I love spending an entire afternoon on something like this.

Right-click the printer or copier for which you want to turn off duplex printing and select Printing Preferences.
On the Finishing tab (for HP printers) , uncheck Print on both sides.
Click OK.
I remember doing this initially when I installed it the first time. Unfortunately it seems to have disabled itself after what I assume was a Window update. I did all these steps, and it still not doing the two-sided printing. Please help.

The manual for my Deskjet 2725e shows how to check the double-sided printing box, but in reality, that option is grayed out and I can't select it. Is this not available for this printer, and if not, why does the manual show that it is?
