- The 2020 official DLC by Bandai Namco Entertainment and CyberConnect 2 for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto has new next generation outfits for 11 characters and there will also be 2 new playable characters. The 11 next generation character outfits in the 2020 DLC are of Ino, Shikamaru, Choji, Temari, Kankuro, Hinata, Kiba, Shino, Rock Lee, Tenten, and Sai. All these characters have the same exact movesets as their timeskip (Shippuden) versions.
The two new playable characters are Kinshiki and Momoshiki. These two were bosses only before in Road to Borut DLC, but with the 2020 Naruto Storm 4 DLC, they will be playable.
Hokage Naruto, Adult Sasuke, Adult Sakura, and Adult Gaara Naruto Next Generation outfits were release back in 2017.
This new 2020 DLC will be released for the Nintendo Switch as an entire bundle and as separate paid DLC for Sony PS4, Microsoft Xbox One, and PC/Steam on April 24, 2020.

@@Zyman-iv4jb alot of people are just upset that even tho characters like Choji and ino and sai have aged over a decade in the timeline they have no new abilities and have been copy and pasted from storm 2 once again. Its sorta lazy on the devs part. as someone who's bought storm 1 and 2 and 3 (1 2 and 3 i have bought twice i might add ) and now will buy number 4 on switch I put my fair share of money into the series and it would just be nice if we got rewarded a little. They copy and paste the movesets on a good handful of the characters as far as I can tell. I'm not saying add new abilities to every character like obviously kid naruto already grew up you cant just pull a jutsu out of nowhere to add to him but over a decade has passed in the story and the original leaf and sand ninja have not gained any new skills? Really?
Idk why didn't they add the rest of Boruto's classmates? (Metal Lee, Sumire, Chocho, Inojin, Shikadai, Shinki's team & the Cloud trio) their canon too.
because that's effort and CC2 doesn't do effort.

They Can add them but IT will be same skills probably so they are waiting for some development in manga or anime (or there will be fillers episodes for them how they are improving and etc)
road to boruto is based on the movie not the series. sumire didn’t exist, no one knew anything about Metal Lee, and the rest if the characters weren’t that important. the only character who isn’t playable and has a full moveset is adult Konohamaru who should have been playable
If they did that I would definitely buy the DLC even tho I don’t even play the game that much anymore. And the only reason I wanna buy this dlc is for adult Hinata from Boruto tbh.

This stuff should be free DLC because it should’ve been in the game ages ago. Old Ultimate Ninja and Clash of the ninja were miles better. They had original ideas and challenging game mechanics.

It’s awesome that we’re getting dlc for this amazing game but it woulda been nice to get some new movesets or at least new ultimates for characters like rock lee and choji.
Man they add all these new skins for sai or Choji but they ain't gonna let my boi kakashi get his new skin 😢😭☹

So, here is what I am thinking, so if this DLC goes well, there will be another one, which will give us more playable characters from Borutos tale, in addition to this one having Momoshiki and Kinshiki, because they are coded in the game, you do fight Shikidai, and some kid from the Cloud in the story mode
nah, that isn't likely. only reason we're getting these guys at all is to build hype for the switch release. after that, game'll be dead again.

I would be much happier if they added like kakashi hokage with purple lightning or something cos kakashi with hokage robe right now in the game is able to use susanoo without sharingan and thats kinda like not how it was in the anime
True, And his Hokage outfit is only available to those who actually pre-ordered the game before it released. So if you didn’t do that you lost that opportunity to sadly

i wish they used the anime/manga final form Momo...ehh. Also Urashiki, Kage Kurotsuchi and Chojuro should have been playable too.

I hope we get urashiki otsutsuki and tornai otsutsuki as playable characters in the future I mean they added mommshik and kinkshki years later even tho they should have been playable characters when the boruto expansion came out in the first place i mean they were the only 2 villains in the entire movie that weren't playable but they gave us like 4 or 5 boruto's counting if you pre-ordered the game and a 2nd sarada again counting if you pre-ordered the game so it was about time but I really hope we get urashiki and tornai otsutsuki as playable characters in the future

So Idk if anyone got the DLC, but I haven't played the game in a while and had everything unlocked and when I heard about the DLC two days ago I went and got it. After loading it I lost Adult Gaara and Mitsuki and idk how to get them back

Movesets are the same, we can see that on screenshots but I hope for some of them that they wil add new ultimate jutsu or at least for Rock Lee.

This game would be much alive if they released patches for fixing bugs (other issues as well) and new content into it. For example: New characters, movesets, new secret factor pictures, some new co-op mode etc... or at least new ultimate jutsus. It’s such a shame that they gave up on it so easly.

But most of all I am super happy we are finally getting boruto era costume hinata! Yay!!! That was my biggest complaint about the game after road to boruto sadly didnt add her. Like why gaara over her i always said.

While I am glad these cosmetics are official now, I want people on PC to be aware of this mod. It is 100x more expansive than this (though not sure how balanced the characters are)

As much as I appreciate that cyber took the time to come back to this game years after the release of what was thought to be the last dlc installment for the game, the fact that we're only getting 2 new characters frustrates me, don't get me wrong I'm glad we're getting more content, even if it isn't much, but even so there is still much to be wanted that hasn't added yet, 1 thing is the exclusion of Adult konohameru which I feel should have come with the road to boruto expansion as he is the leader of the current team 7, and as happy as I am to see the next gen versions of characters such as Lee, Hinata, Shikamaru, kiba etc, I find that they put a lackluster amount of effort into it, again it's not that I'm ungrateful, but rather that the movesets are exactly the same as before, for Naruto and Sasuke they gave them movesets similar to what they do in boruto, instead of leaving them with the moves they used from
shippuden, I feel like they should've done the same with this but instead of making 11 more new character slots, they'd do something similar with what they did with kakashi's double sharingan preset, where it's the same character, just a different preset and different moves, even if they just altered their combo's slightly, and do things such as make rock lee's awakening the highest gate he's capable of as of right now in boruto so on and so forth, I'm not asking for an entirely different character moveset, just something slightly more up to date with boruto's version of the characters, I feel with all the time between the release of the supposed last dlc for the game and this one that cc2 can do better than this, but none the less as much as it is disappointing to be the same moveset, I am grateful for it being done at all

There won't be a storm 5, Bandai said back when 4 was made it was the last Storm game, also it's not just outfits, Momoshiki and Kinshiki become playable

Crash Kid Yes but if they were added when road to boruto came out we probably would of moved on to konahamru,Yuri and shakadai by now but because CC2 is lazy we’re behind a dlc.Theres a really good chance we will get . Yuri shakadai and Konahamru. But we need more info on Yuri in the anime first.

This game would be complete if they release skins for the young version to : Shikadai = young shikamaru skin, ChoCho = young choji skin , Inojin = Should change a little mixing sai and ino moveset... and Metal Lee = young rock lee skin . It would be only 4 skins, new voices and it would be awesome =D
And also Adult Konohamaru as a new character for god's sake ...
