Lovely!! I aspire to loose watercolour painting, but ALWAYS manage to get too involved in the detail and overpaint...love watching your videos though! I'll get there eventually!¡😊

Wendy, I always enjoy your work. But this particular piece is inspired! Well Done!!! I've been looking at trying to do some line and wash, but incorporating the charcoal pencil as you go along is even more intriguing. I think this is something that I may try in the future, also - the NEAR future. Your seascape really speaks to me, exciting me to get out my paints. Thank you, too, for defining intuitive for me. This is the first time I have felt like I could "understand" what it means and then actually watch as someone puts their feelings down on paper. I appreciate your efforts and your encouragement to us, your audience.

How nice…..what lovely feedback thank you. I love to work like this and good that there are people who respond to it. Not for everyone but we should paint for the most part what we enjoy the most and gives us pleasure. I do like doing the beginner tutorials as well though…..having a bit of fun with a new Xmas card 😀💕

I think this painting and how you went about it is just wonderful. Using the charcoal pencil was very new to me…might try it out. Love your work and find it quite inspiring. Thank you Wendy
