Wow, your B&N actually has an Arrow Video setup AND Standee? The two locations of mine that carry any Arrow Video stuff just has 3 titles each that are mixed in with the regular movies.
I think these guys keep their physical media top of the line because that Mid Level Media giy drops in. Seriously, I have to drive to 8 Barnes and Nobles before I get access to a fraction of the discs you saw
That Robin Hood is a great package. The whole 'Night at the movies: 1939' experience was cool. wish more would do that. Also, my B&N doesn't have near the level of Arrow films yours does. Haven't found one yet that does.
Wild how much Arrow stuff and sets were at your B&N! Mine has a little basket by the front with 15 or so Arrow titles. There have been lots of empty shelves since November and what movies they do have are mostly DVDs...
Nice!!!! I have a question for you that has nothing to do with the best boutique label company today. Do you know if Amazon is going to put The Abyss and Aliens 4k's for preorder, or are they going to be greedy and not just to force customers to buy it in their streaming services? PLEASE Ken, can I get your opinion. If they don't then I'm going to take all my buisness to Atomic movie store, Diabolik and direct from tge boutique labels.....
Was at Barnes and Noble, Best Buy today. Lots of good movies movies on blue ray for $10. Married with Children Box set 262 episodes $16.99, Oppenheimer 4k, $35.
It's ridiculous that I live in San Diego and NONE of the B&N's in the whole city have physical media anymore. All of the Best Buys have been picked over, the Wal Marts mostly just carry standard DVD's, same with the Targets. I'm almost exclusively online order now - or BookOff, which is crazy overpriced.
They dont have that Arrow section in that Barnes and Noble location anymore, Ken? It had been moved to the section next to the audio books and TV show DVDs against the wall
Heck don't complain bro your Barnes And Noble had a lot of neat movies. Mine, which is like an hour away never brought movies!😭 This mall used to have a Game Craze, FYE, Game Stop, etc. and they all closed down so there's no reason for me to go there anymore. Anyway good hunting and cool video Ken!👉🙂👈
The Arrow section in my nearest Barnes & Noble is pretty minimal. The one about 25 minutes away near downtown Orlando has the biggest Arrow and Criterion section. However, they’re not great or quick on re-stocking. I did pick up The Warriors 4K set, but struck out on the Witness 4K box and the Weird Science 4K. I went ahead and ordered the limited edition 4K of Conan The Barbarian off Amazon, because I don’t trust my local B&N will even stock the 4K or the Orlando store will get enough of the 4Ks in stock. I’m just going to have to accept that I missed out on the Witness limited edition 4K box and just wait to pick up the standard 4K during the next Arrow sale.
Your Barnes and Noble stocks a lot more Arrow than mine does. They only had a handful of titles mixed in with regular releases and I bought about half of them on the first day of the sale (sorry anyone else who went to the South Hills Pittsburgh B&N for some 😂). They have a huge stock of Criterion but never have really stocked much Arrow. So far my Arrow haul during the sale: The Warriors, Weird Science and Hugo in store. The Last Starfighter, An American Werewolf in London, Donnie Darko, Conan Chronicles, Carlito's Way and Wild Things online.
Ken, did you order the Cameron 4ks yet? Wondering if i should go with Walmart and do they ship to your home? Was thinking of Orbit but they say "We do not accept returns for light/minor imperfections/scuffs/dings"
Awesome shopping video to kick off the new Ken I Barnes n Noble is really expensive when it comes to the movies but at least they still have it. Half price books nice Ken I haven't been to one in like 10 years. The last time I went into one I must have spent like 427 bucks no joke. I love half price books. Shame looks like interesting. I've never heard of it before
I worked as a bn music manager from 2002 - 2011. It was sad to watch my section get gutted over the years, but happy to see their criterion sale and now this one thrive.
**Ken** you mention even picking up a VHS, are we for real or just mucking about? I hope just joshing, I wouldn't wish DVD on a modern TV of any serious size.---Shame looked to be in good condition when you where in the car, so I'd say money well spent.---At half price books, was there snow?
Ken ,your Barnes and Noble is infinitely better than the ones here in South Jersey. Much better selection of kino and arrow and just general releases. My local used movie store has better selection than Noble.
I’m confused why u keep pushing Barnes & Noble what’s the 50% off of 60 or 70 bucks the movies all turn out to be regular price. U better off buying on line 😮
Yes the Barnes and Noble Arrow sale is legit. I look forward to it more than Criterion because it's less stressful. Plus it's good to support the brick and mortar stores because their sales influence the online market too
My B&N only has one little Arrow stand with about 20 different titles. I was going to grab The Warriors limited edition, but they didn’t have the 4K, only blu ray.
Barnes and Noble prices always suck. Everything overpriced. Never bought any movies from arrow, 99% of the titles never heard of. Same goes for other boutique labels..
Went to my Barnes & Noble today and there was a wopping 10 movies total for Arrow
Wow, your B&N actually has an Arrow Video setup AND Standee? The two locations of mine that carry any Arrow Video stuff just has 3 titles each that are mixed in with the regular movies.
Mustache Ken is probably my favorite so far
I own it so can confirm A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood does indeed have a 4K release.
Shame is legit one of my favorite movies. Michael Fassbender was freaking SNUBBED at the Oscars.
I've heard incredible things about it in the past. Figured it was a cool one to pick up.
Oh love Columbo I’d love that box set
I think these guys keep their physical media top of the line because that Mid Level Media giy drops in. Seriously, I have to drive to 8 Barnes and Nobles before I get access to a fraction of the discs you saw
Cameron 4ks are up now on Amazon but 40 bucks each. Hope they drop fast.
That Robin Hood is a great package. The whole 'Night at the movies: 1939' experience was cool. wish more would do that. Also, my B&N doesn't have near the level of Arrow films yours does. Haven't found one yet that does.
I Would Love For Paramount To Do Tommy Boy On 4K
Whoa your Barnes and noble is stacked. My local stores don’t stock that much physical media
I’ve love the soundtrack to “Shame” (more than the movie itself).
I dont think Tommy boy has ever had a region b blu ray...crazy for such an iconic comedy
That's a lot of Arrow titles. No stores near me have anything like that. What location is this
Beautiful day in the neighbourhood did get a 4k and it was imax enhanced. Shame is a really good film.
You have nearly all of those Arrow titles.
11:17 …. $15 for Naked Lunch on VHS?! Hell no!
Wild how much Arrow stuff and sets were at your B&N! Mine has a little basket by the front with 15 or so Arrow titles. There have been lots of empty shelves since November and what movies they do have are mostly DVDs...

A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood got a 4k almost 4 years ago
5:45, Ken, I'm liking that Stevie Nicks box set there! I'm going to look that one up, thanks for the video on your trip!
They dont have that Arrow section in that Barnes and Noble location anymore, Ken? It had been moved to the section next to the audio books and TV show DVDs against the wall
I didn't see it? Possible I missed it maybe?
A couple of months ago, I went in that location and seen it. It is a small section of Arrow titles in next to the audio books.
Heck don't complain bro your Barnes And Noble had a lot of neat movies. Mine, which is like an hour away never brought movies!😭 This mall used to have a Game Craze, FYE, Game Stop, etc. and they all closed down so there's no reason for me to go there anymore. Ken and his Chaplin moustache!

This B&N has 4x as many Arrow titles as the last 3 stores near me. Haven't gotten much this sale. Picked up Waterworld 4K and Witness blu-ray.
Ken, did you order the Cameron 4ks yet? Wondering if i should go with Walmart and do they ship to your home?
Was thinking of Orbit but they say "We do not accept returns for light/minor imperfections/scuffs/dings"
Walmart ships to your home yes. I'd just go Amazon. They'll likely drop in price.

You have a caterpillar under your nose! 😅
Shame is an out-of-print title.
I worked as a bn music manager from 2002 - 2011. It was sad to watch my section get gutted over the years, but happy to see their criterion sale and now this one thrive.

I Just got A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood on 4K for $10
got The Warriors blu-ray limited ed. and The Andromeda Strain
Sorry B&N didn't have a good enough Arrow selection for you but nice cheap snags for under $15!!
Shame is amazing. Good family movie, lol.
Ken you know you want that Deftones, awesome band. Seen em live 6 times. Really enjoyed the video.
I love em. Bought that CD at 17 I think?
The Warriors 2 4K set $29 bucks
Damn! they had To Live and Die in LA with the slip?
I thought Shame was a great movie based off Fassbenders performance that’s a nice find!
Ken ,your Barnes and Noble is infinitely better than the ones here in South Jersey. Much better selection of kino and arrow and just general releases. My local used movie store has better selection than Noble.
Hate when they put stickers on the slip. Should only be on outer plastic wrap.
$15 for a used VHS?
If it isn't on streaming and was never released on anything but VHS, I can see it... maybe.
What happened to not going to a BN 🤣
I say that?
I’m confused why u keep pushing Barnes & Noble what’s the 50% off of 60 or 70 bucks the movies all turn out to be regular price. U better off buying on line 😮
A lot of these 4K big boxsets were $40 to $45 upon release day. They're $30 now.
Yes the Barnes and Noble Arrow sale is legit. I look forward to it more than Criterion because it's less stressful. Plus it's good to support the brick and mortar stores because their sales influence the online market too
It’s 50% off MSRP. Still a good deal… blackhat 4K is $24 rn. It’s like $35 on other sites. Amazon price matches tho
@midlevelmedia I totally agree. I pay attention to the sales for discs and the Arrow sale is a real deal. Their discs are worth it too.
My B&N only has one little Arrow stand with about 20 different titles. I was going to grab The Warriors limited edition, but they didn’t have the 4K, only blu ray.
Glad I don't shop there (B&N)...I hate seeing the formats mixed together! If I'm looking for 4Ks, I don't want to sort through the other crap!
Underwhelming, you have no idea how bad it is in Canada by comparison.
Barnes and Noble prices always suck. Everything overpriced. Never bought any movies from arrow, 99% of the titles never heard of. Same goes for other boutique labels..
Cool story bro
Have to agree with you. What few titles I recognize are outside my price range. I have 3 Arrow discs.
