The Ratha Yatra of Puri, also rendered as the Ratha Jatra, is considered the oldest and largest Hindu chariot festival celebrated annually, on the bright half of the lunar month of Ashadh. Thank you, I always wondered about these statues, so it's kind of a part of Lord Vishnu or another being that came out of Vishnu/ Krishna? Also I noticed that all the temples in India seem to be dated around 1200 AD, is this accurate? If so, what was going on 800 years ago in India?

Sri Jagannath is the most extatic form of Lord Krsna.When Krsna experiance separation from Vrindavan,vrajavasis,spc.Radharani,He become Jagannath,Lord with big eys .
Gundica is Vrindavan.Ratha yatra festival is bringing Krsna back to Vrindavan,or our heart as our heart should be Vrindavan,mean Krsna is in the center of our live.
Krsna is svayam Bhagavan and Visnu is Krsnas avatar.
Krsnas body is not material
Šabaras worshiped Neela Mathava first 50 years of Bramha.Nila Madhava is Vishnu form.He was main diety for this time.
Secont 50 years of Bramha,Lord Jagannath is main diety on planet Earth.
So Krsna heart is not Neela Madhava
Its Krsna lila that Jagannath is like that it is
