It is hard to believe that those students, ifhey were 15 in 1962, would be almost 70 in 2021. It would have been interesting if they did a study to see if they stayed fit throuhout their life’s. The segment in the video where they are walking on their hands is impressive, they had great balance.
We interviewed over 200 LaSierra alumni for our documentary film "The Motivation Factor." Nearly every single one of them stayed fit and active their whole lives. It worked--for a life time.
@@TheLeanBerets Great to hear. I commend this fine program. Loving seeing these fantastic documentations of this successful P.E. program not only for the boys, but also for the girls. Thank you!
No we've done it in Lausanne (Switzerland) using the Bar Brothers program (a one hour daily calisthenics program) during 12 weeks and had some quite good results ! But we would be very interested into trying Stan LeProtti program to see how much we can improve. We could even test all the students participating before and after to perform a study on them (given that we are an engineering school) so that we could have some scientific knowledge.
RJ, Have you ever consulted or helped implement this with a non-scholastic organization (etc. parks & rec, fitness business)? This level of fitness instruction is needed more than ever. The virus is sending kids into complete couch potato mode and parents into helicopter mode. As for school moving more virtually and parents not permitting their children to go back to the classroom, the revival of this type of curriculum will have to shift elsewhere - at least for those looking for it. Keep up the awesome content! I've been a long-time follower and supporter of the this fitness standard. Just bought a climbing rope to hook to my tree as I'm starting to incorporate more general fitness adjacent to my track cycling sprint training. Best, Marcelo Gutierrez (Florida)

That's amazing ! I'm a student implementing such projects in my university ! It's really motivational to see that ! Thanks a lot for your work !
Classical PE has a lot of wisdom that is still quite practical for the "modern" students. Are you in France? -RJ
