Can PoE Extender Repeats the Power over the Long Run

The PoE is limited to 328ft (100 meters). The signal will start dropping after 328ft. Usually, we can use the PoE extender to repeat the PoE network. One curious thing is whether the PoE power is being extended during the long range transmission or not.
