We are back with another walleye fishing video! In this video I am on a big fish mission to some small water of Wisconsin. In this video I am looking for some bigger walleyes in the early summer season. I get on a pattern finding walleyes suspending off of the edge of structure. When fish get to this location my favorite way to catch them is using the kalins search bait to sharpshoot them. We end up catching a bunch of nice walleyes before a big thunderstorm moves in. Thanks for watching!

Great video nice to see there’s still a lake in the north woods that has Quality fish in it I used to go up to vilas all the time when I was younger in the early 80s. My nephew is up there this summer majoring in biology. He is doing invasive species removal. Spent the weekend up there I was surprised at how many lakes I used to fish had a sign at the landing saying fish restoration in progress please practice catch and release. Kinda sad to see that still had fun and yes we were out there and got rained and hailed on 😂

i have missed fish this year on smiley blade spinners. My theory is that the fish is biting the whole thing and the beads are trapped in the tip of jaw (not being hooked) when the fish lets go the hook evades a set. i imagine with the search bait there is a nice lump of weight that gets trapped.
