@RobertCluteIt's safe on solid state storage which is what all phones use. It's only really an issue if You're having magnets around hard drives even then, it has to be a pretty powerful magnet to do anything

about the e-ink thing, it's meant to be laggy, since it has to create a whole new frame by removing the black and adding the new black in, but the technology is just quite slow with this. often used for e readers, since honestly, why would you need it and it's very good for the battery since you can use a whole charge for like a month if you dont use it too much other than for like the basic needs and all.
eInk is interesting for a phone like this because if the phone dies it's stuck on whatever was onscreen.

It’s not meant to be laggy. That’s just a limitation of the tech. They have gotten a lot faster than they used to be though.

A persistent screen seems like the worst option for a criminal phone, but i can imagine this is a fantastic phone for the outdoors, where you can just preserve battery in an instant.
Yeah theres other phones that come with/you can install securer operating systems. I think the Google pixel is used often. Honestly though I'd stick with Linux and open source heavily vetted software for any major privacy needs. Get an app that allows you to convert messages to cryptographic text and send fully encrypted messages. There's some open source messenger apps that have been vetted heavily.
LCDs seem like the best option since they have no phosphors that can wear down (per pixel, obviously excepting the backlights) and must be powered to show an image (though thinking of it maybe the color filters can wear down? No idea)
Not that hard to swipe down and turn off your mobile data.

very cool phone, used it for two weeks and it did its job sooooo well.
unfortunately it does not support many authenticator and banking apps, so this was not for me and i sent it back :(

It's crazy that bringing back features from old ass laptops and phones is what we call innovation now. Laptops from like 15 years ago had physical internet switches that would turn off the lan card. I guess we’re bringing it back 👍

Nah that was a program called Trojan Sheild and the phone brand name was anom. It was a private OS that actually did it's job, but the creator built a backdoor into the encrypted messager.
He got arrested and cut a deal with law enforcement to give them access to the back door in order to avoid his own charges.

E ink screens are good for productive stuff like reading, and typing cause it’s not using much of the battery but very bad for entertainment like doomscrolling social media 😂😂. It’s a cool device though. Love your content by the way

That switch is definitely hardwired in the phone. Definitely not just a software one, that tells you you are offline, meanwhile logging or sending information out anyways. Definitely okay to do all your illegal activities as long as the switch is activated. And definitely not a fake company that is run by someone trying to catch criminals.
I own this phone it's software not hardware.

В некоторых телефонах войдя в режим разработчика можно найти настройку позволяющую вот так же оффнуть весь функционал на телефоне а затем привязать эту функцию на тач скрин, проводишь пальцем например от точки вверх и вуаля, трубка превращается в кирпич
