This is a nice explanation of morphology but you way want to make sure all of your unbound base examples are not further analyzable. I would also caution you on announcing unbound bases (as you did with "fer") as opposed to spelling out the base. All elements are subject to change when the word is complete. Example: differs depending on the suffix added. Sign+al--> signal. Sign+ing--> signing. Re+sign+ed--> resigned. Also suffix is not just a past tense suffix, it also forms adjectives...this may require introducing inflectional and derivational at the same time. This should not be too hard as most students probably know that a word unchanged in English can hold different grammatical functions. For example, the word fish is both a verb and a noun without any change to the word, and adding the suffix will also not alter this option. It is then either plural noun fish (fishes) or 2nd person conjugation of the verb he fishes in the lake every summer.

Great video. I agree with Minda, I wish it was fully referenced. I have looked for the accompanying handout, but I am unable to find it. A link in the description box would be extremely helpful.

When saying "research tells us"... you should cite the studies. There was one cited but many claims made.
