This kind of puzzle is what got me hooked to your channel. All the super expensive puzzles are cool too, but I like this chill solving very much. It's calming and engaging at the same time.
As soon as he said he needed more leverage I was like oh hey I bet that black knob unscrews and would fit. Drove me insane when he was turning them at the same time and didn’t make the connection
36:00 minutes into the video (2 days into the puzzle) I love hearing you working out - not only to us, but to yourself - the process of thought that goes into deconstructing what the creator was thinking. I love it!
I got addicted to this channel because of sequential puzzles years ago… but then i fell in love with his magic…. and suddenly area 52… This guy is a huge creative talent… Much love and support from Germany! Thank you so much for your time Chris!! ❤
@@andrewortega66 I know, right?!?! I have a whole shelving setup of the puzzles I've solved but the most expensive one was like $80 because the super awesome seq disc ones are like hundreds or thousands of $$$...which I totally get because of all the work and thought that goes into making them.
I recently rediscovered this channel after 4-5 years of not watching it and this is the first video I’ve watched since I came back and I’m just so glad to hear this guys soothing voice again.
I love watching you describe, work on & complete these types of puzzles. The diagrams & to your excitement working on and completing it add to the fun. It was such a perfect break time of my day!! Thank you, Chris!! ❤😁
I like having these videos playing in the background at work. The way you talk through the stuff breaks up the quiet without needing me to watch what you are doing
Spoilers ahead: This puzzle seemed like a big mess, as if nothing was working properly. So much of this was so difficult for you to manage, and even when you were able to pull the lever, and release the gold coins, it didn't show a jackpot reading on the panel, which I thought it should've.
Lots of the solve was botched or forced. I’ve seen another solve video of this and you do have to line up the logos if you’ve done it properly and not forced things 🤷🏻
Loved your diagrams. They made sense. After day one began to think that the wood may have warped over time and was making it a bit harder than originally intended.
We need another puzzle from this creator. What a great puzzle!! 🔥🔥🔥 Side note: I honestly don't remember seeing you lift that silver top piece in the first half of the video from day 1 & 2.... hmmm. I'm gonna have to rewatch that a second time.....🤣🤣🤣things that make you go hmmm. But i also watched it over 3 days.
Ive seen every puzzle viseo you have chris and this one is one of the coolest. I recently got the davy jones puzzle you did awhile back and that was a doozy. I hope to see more of those wooden puzzles in the future
32:55 You aligned the logos but I thought you first had to acquire a silver coin and / or an ID pass (?) Maybe you went a few steps ahead too soon 🤭 Love watching your videos, been doing so for years now and never gets boring. Thanx a million 💜🍀
Wow - what a cool puzzle 🤯 I admire your determination, Chris 🤘 Great video - great solve 🤘. Also, I have the escape game and can confirm the deck is awesome (the ace of spades is really cool)
15:20 As a mechanic, I fricken love this thing already…. If it was easier to get one I’d stop the video here so I could figure it out on my own! Haha. Keep doin what ya do man! 👌👍
It's such a shame that builders sometimes think of aesthetics instead of functionality. The wood was a problem that made them extra money and made the puzzle more beautiful.... But wasn't needed. It nearly broke it. I really, really enjoyed watching you figure it out though.
It's great to see how far you've come Chris in this art of life. I remember the very 1st set of cards you sold. I was broke as a joke back then, I wanted a pack of those cards SO bad, I know they'll be worth something to (not only me) but a LOT of people one day, if not already. Man I sure wish I had a chance to get your first 1st decks. It's ok, I know what it felt like back then, it was such a glorious time for you.. I'm so glad man.. you've worked super hard and totally deserve everything positive in life. Best to you Chris, I love your content man!!
Let me get this straight. The wood got warped and made it difficult to move a piece and since Chris didn't want to force anything he needed to get help to understand how to proceed? What the? That's terrible!! I'd be totally annoyed if I paid hundreds for a puzzle with a defect like that. Reaction from Chris: "Oh well. It's nobody's fault!?" Everyone in the comments: "Cool puzzle!"
@@ricktube221 agreed. not worth the price of $400+ if a defect could happen as easily as that. plus, it looked like the tools were too small and made the whole puzzle difficult to handle as well.
35:55 - Something fits perfectly where it seemingly isn't doing f*ck all. "So bizarre!" 😆😂Frustration kicking in. I'm literally crying I'm laughing so much, hahaha...
Avid watcher of your videos. I this one one pop up, and I immediately stopped it, order the puzzle and it arrived at 11am today. I have JUST completed it and re built it. Feeling very chuffed that I was able to complete this, I obviously learned from the master - thank you Chris!
Haven't watched your vids in couple months. I paused the video right at the start to comment on it. Ill let you know if i like the video in an hour. Simple yet complicated. Another banger video. love your content bro.
I really like watching Chris solve sequential puzzles. As you explain your thought process, many times I am left shaking my head and wondering “how did you think of that?”
Can you interview Yuu Asaka. There no videos of him on RUclips. It would be fascinating to hear and see how he comes up with them and the way his mind works. Have you ever thought about interviewing puzzle creators?
This is my first time ever shouting at the screen like you always used to say. I was shouting about the handle probably being the tool you needed for that brass screwdriver piece lol
I was thinking it would be cool if you edited in a cartoon computer drawing\animation that shows what you're drawing or what you're trying to describe. Thought you'd like the idea. And in the editing process you could make it look better than the in-the-moment scribbles.. just brain storming.
I was another one that was saying the tool had to be part of the handle. Then you found it. After that you found a second tool in the handle. That was really cool how they made the handle with two tools. Great puzzle and fun to watch you solve it. I am wondering if you fixed it when you got the 3 coins out?
( not sure if spoilers since i havent fully watched the video yet but, most likely not spoilers ) The glass being the last moving part of the puzzle as all the other parts moved really just pushed a mini scale in position to catch the glass and add weight to open the trap door 😅 Side note - im not sure why but im not getting notifications about you're videos. Not sure if it's RUclips side, my side or your side... Either way, I always check back after a few days just to see what's new.
I don't know why but i enjoyed this video alot maybe because of details explained by you or i started like solving complex algorithmic problems in my field 😂
Woodwarping can break so many puzzles especially when force is usually not necessary.. makes you wish the mechanic components are more encased in material that doesn’t warp by thermal expansion.
Hi there, I've been following for a little while now. Honestly, I neither like or dislike. I admire the effort. Keen on how tricky the puzzle was. Yet, all the while, which is a shame to say, yet due to culture's attitudes. Seemed a little lengthy. That said, I admire and respect your efforts and puzzling. I'm looking forward to the next. Keep up the good work.
This puzzle reminds me of almost every Consumer product. Vacuum, power tool, tv etc. in that when it breaks, you sometimes want to tear that product apart and try to fix it. But it generally goes just like this. Just when you think you have all the nuts and bolts off, you forgot one hidden bolt or didn’t disassemble another necessary part first.
"This piece of glass here, it used to have a sticker saying 'do not press', and I pressed it, and the glass fell off." lol
Yeah and if the glass says do not press don't press on the glass

For the first 15 minutes i was screaming at the screen "undo the black knob off the arm!". What a relief when you finally did 😂

It made me feel so smart that I caught that before he did!

Hey, respect to the people that put his videos together. They do their thang. Especially on the openings...
Some people follow Chris for his magic and cardistry. Most follow for the puzzle solving. True intellectuals follow for his artwork.
Indeed. The nature of his hand drawn artwork is quite the perplexing spectacle 🧐🍷
as soon as chris starts drawing, you know it’s getting serious
