Marcos 10:14 is a bilingual setting of the bible verse Mark 10:14 in Visayan and Spanish language written for 2 choirs. The piece aims to create a playful yet compelling dialogue between the two coirs that turns out into a one massive paean. Infused with a delicate balance between the pentatonic and altered double phrygian tonalities to incorporate both sounds of a typical Asian tune and of the Spanish gypsies. The piece is also furnished with percussion instruments to have this festive and regal feel of the Sinulog Festival.
