Go for IIT Kharagpur or IIM Vishakapatnam. IIT/IIM tag is GOD. My personal preference IIM V > IIT Kh > XIMB BM IIM V will grow but IIT Kh and XIMB are already saturated.

@@DD-ky9xi Location Advantage is huge. IMT-G is more reputed and known. People outside industry hardly know XIMB. XIMB placements reports are highly doubted and inflated. IMT-G reducing even 10% of its batch strength is a welcoming step. Plus if you're getting into core or marketing then it makes more sense to be somewhere where there is some industrial base present around. And Delhi-NCR is almost at par with Greater Mumbai or Bengaluru. Kolkata, Chennai and Ahmedabad are a bit lacking and Pune, Indore, Lucknow are still catching up.

Hype bana rakha hai bas GIM ka woh bhi 14 LPA pe and XIMB ka 19 hai and companies and profile bhi acchi hai gim se. GIM is a proper tier 2 college which has a long way to go. Median packages me kaafi farq hay. Same goes for alumni base and roles offered.
