One thing that didn’t work as well for me was- since you were whispering I turned my volume up to hear properly so the tapping ended up a bit loud. Maybe move the mic closer to you so it pics up the whispering better and balances other sounds? Or maybe just gentler tapping when whispering. Throne of Glass was the series I started in 2020 that got be back into reading, I agree it gets way better. If you haven’t read it I super recommend the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson. It’s an adult fantasy but is a super good transition point in my opinion, and also has a badass female protagonist which I always appreciate. 😊
