Sarah has been such an awesome addition to this channel. She's so funny and sweet. Gives me a much needed girl's perspective as us girl enthusiasts are few and far between 😎👍
You guys have only made two episodes in the series, and I already love the series so much. Even though the episodes are long, they are amazing and do not get boring whatsoever!
Living around a 30 minute drive from Djurs Sommerland, we decided to go full out this summer and buy season passes for the whole family. This vlog is truly brilliant and, for me, it serves as a great reminder not to take Djurs Sommerland for granted because it really is a wonderful park! Hope you all enjoyed your visit :-)
These European vlogs are great. Thoughtfully filmed and edited with high production values. They really capture the feeling of the trip and not just the parks themselves. This channel has come far.
Janek is certainly someone fun to see in the videos. It's great you stay connected with the people you meet around the world. He's not bad to look at either ;-)
After doing a lot of European parks and some Northern American parks I definitely agree with what you guys are experiencing. European parks mostly tend to be theming focused and while the rides are not always the most extreme, they are usually quite unique and are a lot of fun. For me the great three (Efteling, Phantasialand and Europa Park) are the parks that prove how much theming can do to a themepark experience. Glad to see you are enjoying it to the fullest, can’t wait for the next video!
Mental, was only there a few weeks before you. Piraten backseat is bonkers and Juvelen is way more intense then you would expect. The staff are among the friendliest of all the themeparks that I have been to.
I still don’t understand why a park in America hasent put a Gerstlauer Bobsled in their park.. I feel like Adventureland (Iowa) or Lost Island could benefit from a Gerstlauer Bobsled
Man, these vlogs are really great. Djurs Sommerland looks like such a nice park! And I really like seeing the extra travel and evening stuff. Really cool how you covered sorting your Great America video.
I know thos video has a few years on it, but it was great fun watching. We went to Djurs this summer and wauw, great scenary and the best employees. The coasters are all very cool and all suitable for families… theres literally a coaster for every level of excitement. Step wise from chill and fun onto Piraten with great airtime hills ❤ Thanks for the geeat vid 🎉
Incredible. I was at the park ... quite some time ago. Maybe 8 years ago. I can barely remember anything that you showed. exept for Piraten, Juwelen, the topple tower and the free open barbacue area (where you can bring your own stuff), there is nothing I remember!
I'm an american but I grew up in germany for aa couple years cause of the military and that speedy gonzales dispatch unlocked a memory in my mind. I remember doing a couple rides like that as a kid
Was great to meet and talk to you at Djurs! I was the one of the two guys with the Taiga shirt and we got to ride Piraten at the end of the day with Sarah. Had a great time there, Djurs Sommerland is an amazing park👍
Just really stumbled on you channel so lloking into some of your older stuff. Best park in Denmark in my opnion. Looks like you where there around the same time as i was there. Danish staff is something else i really like them.
So excited for the energylandia vlog!Going to find it so interesting listening to you justifying why you think hyperion > Zadra. Loving the series so far, keep up the good work!
Hello to the coster studio I just wanted to say dang that Park is so cool and awesome 👍 looks like fun . You guys make awesome video vlogs you guys rock . Have fun and safe travels.
I hope you guys did the super long Parkour in Farup Sommerland, that thing is SO COOL Ps : did you do the mini log flume next to the mack boat ride ? That thing get you SOAKED, like wth
You've been to Europe before and yet you seem to always be surprised by the theming. Europe has the best themed parks in the world because competition is strong and parks try to 'outdo' one another, which is great for the consumer. 😁
Yeah. It also helps a fair bit that most of the parks here are more "Mid sized" and closer to eachother. Like Djurs Sommerland and Fårup sommerland are less than 2 hours of driving from eachother. Meanwhile in much of the US, many large parks have a monopoly in their region. Plus the fact that most parks here are independent or in the case of Djurs, family owned.
I love watching you two. I wish my significant other and I could travel around the world like this and coaster it up. Great couple, great adventure so far on film!
You should go back. In 2023 they added 3 new rides to Dinoland, one being the only Disc-o Coaster in Scandinavia (maybe also Europe). I's a ride where you spin around on the back of a dinosaur skeleton. In 2024 they are getting a 60 meter (around 197 feet) high drop tower with a 100 khp / 62 mhp drop. Last years in 2023 I spend a lot of time in Djurs Sommerland with niece and her best friend, they are both 8 years old. For us Djurs Sommerland is the best Family park in Denmark, and they have been named Denmark's best family park for 5 years in a row (2023). My niece was not high enough to try the Rollercoaster: The Pirate, but her friend was, or to be honest I was not 100% sure, but when she got green light to go, she had the biggest smile on her face, and after trying the Pirate, she was smiling even more. On Halloween they have an event called: Magical Halloween, they make a big deal out of it, and even decorate the park with 40,000 pumpkins
I've loved the first two episodes of Coasin' Thru Europe so far! Great work with all of the editing, that takes a lot of time! I would love to take a coaster tour through Europe sometime, so this will be a great guide! I would love it if you could show a map of your route or maybe an itinerary which would really help with planning a trip! Thanks Taylor and Sarah!
I knew this park was going to be cool because European parks are always so beautiful and well themed, but I didn’t know it was going to be THIS awesome !
What the heck, i always taught this was a small overrated park, damn this changed my mind, it looks awesome so well themed and so good rides!!! Thanks for the awesome vid love it!!
They used to be just a small typical summerland until they added Piraten in 2007. After that they consistently added attraction after attraction. Heck for the longest time they had a new roller coaster every 2 years! The water coaster in 2011, the launch coaster in 2013, a brand new kiddie coaster in a new themed kids land to replace their old wacky worm in 2015, and the invert in 2017
Not sure if you know but Hersheypark had a set of those dry water slides for a couple decades, they were called the Western Chute-Outs. Fahrenheit ended up replacing them.
17:04 it's kind of funny how you surprised of a water slide. I also didn't think there was gonna be that much airtime on it maybe I should go to that theme park and ride their biggest coaster
Man what a nice vlog. I'm sure you guys saw even more stuff like how these parks have an open bonfire that you can roast bread dough on a stick on, or those jumping pillows too alongside the trampolines. But yeah, never in America. Also interesting notes. For one, the new Dinosaurland actually replaced part of an old land called Afrikaland. It was criticized a lot in recent years for its depictions so it was an easy target. A few old Afrikaland rides remain but the new dinosaurland primarily take up the space occupied by a former boatride called "Chico and the poachers." An outdoor, themed jungle cruise style dark ride where you follow a monkey named chico as he tries to free his ape friends from the clutches of poachers through the jungle. The ride featured a massive king kong animatronic, which is actually still in the park and integrated into the jeep ride in the Dinosaurland. Also if anyone is wondering why none of the park's rides go upside down, its because the owners of the park actually don't like going upside down themselves. Also like, IDK if this is still the case but in the past at least, you sometimes ended up playing pass the sword, with one of the toy swords on Piraten, while the ride is going around the circuit! I experienced that once back in 2017, its exhausting.
Awesome awesome video! Man that park looked awesome, seeing all the work and detail they put into the park is crazy…. here in America we get a sign put up, they def do it better for sure. I know you went on two intamins but those other coasters what manufacturers were those ? The one that looked like you were on a car with the wheels ? Thanks for the video Taylor and Sara! Now we wait for episode 3!
It really is a nice little park. The place is family owned btw and has been for the whole of its existence, just starting out as a farm family creating essentially an outdoor FEC with playgrounds, canoes, and horseback riding on their property, like with most scandinavian summerlands. Also as for the other manufacturers, the park has a strong relationship with Intamin, and the Launch coaster with the Quad bikes is an Intamin btw. Their family launch coaster model to be specific. The 2 kiddie coasters (Jungle Rally, and The wild chicken chase) are both by Zierer, the Water coaster is by Mack Rides, and Thors Hammer is by Gerstlauer. The park also had an iconic topple tower with an eaglehead for many years which was prominently featured in marketing as a signature reaction. That closed in 2018 and was replaced by the Tiger Gyroswing.
Did you guys visit Randers, Denmark? My great, great (and many more great) grampa has a statue there. One day, my family and I want to visit Denmark to see it, and then of course stop at these parks.
Are you guys going to “Bakken”? It has a super Old woody like Tivoli has, however it mostly has flatrides (which makes it more of a tivoli than tivoli itself)
We absolutely loved Djurs! A few hot takes, Piraten is better than Millie/i305. Juvelen is the Hagrids of Europe. Skatteoen is better than any water coaster we have back in the states. DrageKongen is the best suspended family coaster out there. Trex Coaster is a cred, and Thor rocks a mean kilt.
Greetings from Germany. Untamed is soooo good. I live just an hour away and Walibi is my family's home park. Was so excited, when i heard that Robin Hood would get a RMC treatment. Expectations were high. Reality topped them. My number 1 coaster.
Tell Yanek (sp?) that he can wear a muscle tshirt anytime he wants. He has got the muscles to prove it!! Wish I could have seen him shirtless on that water ride!!
Well it'll be done in the way the trip was done. You can scroll back through their twitter and instagram, or see the trailer they made for these vlogs. But in short the next videos will be Fårup Sommerland, BonBon land, Bakken, followed by Movie Park Germany. So many people going to Djurs this year! Glad to finally see Djurs Sommerland getting videos from these epic coaster people

Probably because it's getting quite expensive if you import it over the seas
@@limonscore you say that, but wouldn’t it still be expensive to import any other Gerstlauer overseas?
@@TrainCoasterFan yeah sure, but maybe it's not worth it, if the coaster is this small
