It's strange to hear a V6 in a modern Ferrari, but wow the GT3 version of the 296 sounds really good. GG Ferrari, hope it turns out to be a successful racing car.
@@jamiea8318 Yeah kinda. Of course I miss the screaming V8s with blown diffusers roaring while they downshift, but this raucous, low-pitched sound V6 F1 cars have is still really good to me.
So this is the next one. As a Ferrari Fan I'm a little sad it's no longer Michelotto doing the Ferrari GT cars and rather Oreca took up the mantle for this one. Doesn't have too much of the Italian Flair the 488 had, but I'm willing to look past it and pray Ferrari Keeps up the pace they've garnered this past year in GT3. The V6 is also REALLY nice to listen to, better the NSX even. Growls a lot more and is a bit lighter in tone, very much looking forward to seeing it at Daytona come 2023 along with the 992 GT3 R. I also know the Huracan is doing an Evo but they said it'll be done in 2024 instead
The 488 didn't really wake up until the Modificata let that V8 loose. "Flair" is too subjective to quantify, and holding anything to the standard the 458 set for sound is just gonna set a fella up for disappointment every time.
Because each cylinder bank has its separate exhaust system all the way to the end. With the street version the 2 exhausts join together at the end leading to a higher pitch sound
I wish Ferrari added more aggressiveness to their road cars just like they're doing with their racing ones. Not making them too sharp but not keeping them too clean and "repetitive". I feel the current designers are missing that essential touch which Pininfarina used to add. Although the SP3 Daytona has to be one of the best looking 21st century Ferraris.
@@pepuzzo8031 the layout is not the same and the production engine in the 296 sounds nothing like the Giulia. Clearly they did something different with the race engine.
Tbh it is so sad to see the v8 go. I wish Ferrari would make another mid engine na v8 car. I think we all miss the sound of the 458 and it’s good sounding screaming v8. If I were able to make a car for Ferrari, I’d make a new v8 that was na and revved up all the way to 12,000 rpm.
very disappointed with the sound, the road car sounds somewhat like a v12, i thought perhaps the race car would sound even more like a v12 but this thing sounds like your typical v6 gt3 car
488 GT3 Evo looks similar to the road 488 car. 296 GT3 is a complete different car to the road version. 296 GTB and SF90 don't really look like cars made by a brand known for hardcore racing and motorsport. They look like Ferrari borrowed designers from Ford/Corvette.
sound is not bad but if you think about it, an 812 competizione is loud, defies opf filters and everything else that has to be installed🙈😁 amazing what Ferrari can do if they want to 😉

Yeah like the 488 EVO
Even the road car sounds incredible
Hey, just like the Ferrari f1 cars for the last decade ;)
@@jamiea8318 Yeah kinda. Of course I miss the screaming V8s with blown diffusers roaring while they downshift, but this raucous, low-pitched sound V6 F1 cars have is still really good to me.
Typical boring looking modern GT3 car
this ain't no mosler
This car is much louder than i thought!!

Yeah that will be really cool

The r8 and huracan sound better
Don’t worry, the Ferrari 296 gt3 is completely build in Italy, Oreca builds every car in an Italian Factory in witch I have the pleasure to work!
@@SkiRacingOz Aye, much more so. The AMG GT's naturally aspirated V8 trumps them all IMO.
Looks awesome as the 488, let's hope that it will good as the old one
The car sounds so different from its road going version
Sounds less of the baby v12 it was marketed as and more of how a v6 really sounds like unfriendly
No hybrid
It looks much better and sound like it should be
Incredible how different the GT3 version sounds compared to the street model!

Yes...much worse...fantastic

@@lor7780 And they are not Audis with a hexogen steering wheel
I miss the days of the na v8 cars.
I love the looks and in my opinion it’s the best sounding v6 turbo GT3 race car.
Because the good sounding GT3 cars aren’t turbo V6
Winner of the 2023 Nürburgring 24hour Race 👍🏻
V6 Turbo never sounded that good, can't wait to have it in Assetto Corsa Competizione
Sounds like a tracktor
Finally a video I’ve been waiting to hear this sound and it did not disappoint
In Italy we say: "Cazzuta!" 💪🏻💪🏻
GT racer based on the already beautiful 296 no surprise it looks amazing
The sound is mind boggling
Looks really really cool and sounds great hope it’s quick
O dont you worry....it will be very quick....with 818 horsepower in roadgoing version......imagine it in competition spec...!!!Forza...Ferrari 296...
I'm gonna miss the 488 gt3. That car was really good
Loving the raw upshifts
pretty sounding v6
Ferrari 296 GT3, Porsche 911 GT3 R (992), Porsche Lmdh can't wait these 3 racecars run in 2023 😍
And Ferraris Hypercar
And people will still complain that “it’s just a v6”
I hate the headlight because looks weird
I love this channel never quite
Is it just me, or does this sound a bit similar to the Giulia V6?
I kinda hear it too
Maybe because the Giulia V6 is half a Ferrari engine?
@@pepuzzo8031 the layout is not the same and the production engine in the 296 sounds nothing like the Giulia. Clearly they did something different with the race engine.

Great sound!
Most of all, follow your tradition, Ferrari !!!
Looks much better with the body colored A-Pillars.
crazy how different to sounds to the Ford gt turbo v6 gte car
Where are the round rear lights? Im sad to see that they changed them but at least the car looks nice.
Uuuauuuuu, tunning Ferrari🤩🤩🤩👏👏👏
Imagine that on the Nürburgring
È da auspicabile quanto bella è vincente.
what a piece of beauty!
Reminds me of the NSX GT3
It has 18 inch tires?
Ferrari GT developing two cars for 2023. I can imagine how busy they must be
*This is a 296 GT3, not a 269 GT3 😅
High Rpm engine!! i like alot
Nothing can match an aspired v12.😢
The sound is a bit more throaty than all other gt3 cars of Ferrari

damn it looks sick
Who came back here after watching the Ferrari LMH by varryx?

Just wished their latest road cars looked better
Looks amazing, sounds bad. Where has the Ferrari v10 or v12 gone :( such a shame , i could cry.
hope it's not too fast or BOP is gonna nerf it to the ground
If only F8 was a GT3 too?
Sounds like a bmw m3 e82 gt3
Sounds like R.S.1
Sorry Please!!296!! GT3.
Is it still hybrid?
GT3 cars can't be hybrid.
Me likey!
MON 26 GT36 2023: COMPÉTITION FIA
I thought the 488 couldn’t sound much more boring, apparently I was wrong
Ancora non riesco a capire se sta 296 è bella o mi fa cagare. Purtroppo quella forma dei fari la rendono molto anonima
Vero però è molto bella, bisogna anche vederla con la giusta livrea inoltre
Not as beautiful exhaust sound as a 458 GT3
👍
😁😎
Front looks like anaconda
The proper 296 :)
Regular 296s (GTB/GTS) need to get Liberty Walk'd or modded the hell out to be more like the GT3 counterpart. That's just me.
Libery walk is a crime against cars
Glad you like liberty walk everyone has their taste. For me smooth flared fenders is enough

u mean mercedes one
Meravigliosaaaaaa💚🤍❤️
If the 296 is half as good as the 488 was.....the rest .can pack up and go home......and let me make.a prediction....the.....296 WILL be better...!!!!
Not quite up to the sound of Apollo IE
nononononono a V6 ARE YOU JOKING. bring the 458 GT3 BACK!!!!
It looks amazing, but sounds awful!!
Sounds awful Ferrari's use to musical
Car looks insanely good, sounds like a Mercedes v8 lol
It’s not a good sound… better the porsche gt3 sound…
Im gonna miss that blast sound in gears changes😭😢😞😤fu c.k ferrari
