Weddings are ridiculous now. My daughter and her partner have been together for 20 years. They have 2 beautiful children and they keep talking about getting married, but money is always tight. I’ve been telling them to just go and do it, they don’t have to entertain a family of aunts, uncles and cousins they never see.
For the security of the family unit regarding financials regarding unexpected death or need for benefits/ default power of attorney, it would be very prudent to tie the knot 🪢 Keep it very low key and intimate to save costs but if the relationship is strong and has survived the test of time it will very likely hold through.
