I read a lot of stories about how the "mother" always loves her kids and help them even after death. This is the first time I've heard a "dad" story where he helped his son even after death. loved it

I think it’s due to cultural differences. In the USA it is more common to see the mother take this role. While in other cultures it is the other way around with the father being the protector and such.
The best example of this is silent hill… in the video game it’s the father who plays the protector and nurturer….
But when a movie was made due to it being a USA production the role was changed to a woman due to the views on the USA where the mother is seen taking the role and not the father.
@@lespena3722 It’s a huge issue. Women are basically seen as sort of like…designed for that. So a single dad is viewed with skepticism and suspicion and women who give their kids up for adoption or don’t want kids for whatever reason as seen as weird somehow.
The dad in the second story was a pretty good guy. His ghost just wanted his son to be safe.❤️

The second story made me so sad. The little boy lost the parent who actually loved him, and the father loved him so much he stuck around to ensure his son was going to be taken care of before he departed for good. Man that hit me in the feels T . T

sad. The dad’s spirit hung around to make his son was taken away from that unhealthy environment and into a good.one. IMR tales are becoming one of my favorite animated horror stories to watch. I would like to see 3 horror stories about hide and seek.

I loved the third story the best - I think it's sweet the girl still checks up on the kids she'd saved from time to time seeing as they still see her as their mother.

My thoughts on story two:
I think that the dad was more pissed at the fact that the drug dealer had hurt Ted physically, sure he was upset about the affair, but after his death, he tried to keep Ted entertained/making sure he's okay, because Ted did mention that his dad would talk to him, so when Ellie(?) showed up, Ted probably thought he was gonna get hurt, but after one evening of kindness he realized that she was there to help, so when she started to throw up after seeing Ted's dad's corpse, he got scared. The dad didn't care if his murderer or ex wife got jail time. He just wanted his son to be safe.
He's still a good dad even in death
I mean, maybe I'm the only one to look at it this way, but story 2 is pretty wholesome. The fact that a father cared so much about his son to remain as a ghost just to make sure someone can care for his son. Mine wanted to kill my mom and possibly the rest of my family.
