This guy is the dude every FTP player should be watching and learning from… not only is he smashing BGs with very low reso but also being impactful in games. Very nice! Just one thing to add, although theres actually a bonus for having high CR, it doesn’t add more than 10% (both stats) in PVP. Meaning that whenever you get 39k CR you will have the max bonus, at least with the current paragon server.
When it comes to PvP, it’s always compared with the player you are attacking and their own combat rating.
So there is no cap, it’s always that you want to be highest to you are in less disadvantage vs higher reso and get advantage same or lower reso than you.
I hope it clarifies or maybe I am missing something.

I'm not a f2p player. But after i watch Indez HOTA build, it help me a lot. I switch 3 of my rank 4 4/5* gem with Pain Clasp, Viper Bite, Mothers Lament (Rank 5 for awaken).The best decision i made. It was a complete game changer in PVP even though my reso dropped like 600'ish. I did way better in PVP with less reso lol! Thanks a lot Indez! U're the best!

cheese! I'm also a f2p low reso player and i managed to finish top 8 last season in bg following these tips while other lb top players are above 10k reso players, also agree with platinum gaining point u made, people who complain about not being able to gain platinum without spending or not being useful in games without spending are just having skill issues...

I'm f2p/low spender and do well in bg (wiz). Usually in the top 20. It's a matter of knowing your character and how it interacts with others and adjusting your play accordingly. I also try to worry about assisting instead of getting most kills. Most people just want the kills and wins-forgetting all that it takes to win
100% playing your role at the best. It’s the most beneficial thing for your team. It will increase your Win Rate for sure
I finished last season's BG at #10, 1.2K resonance, no time to research gear, I just equip the ones with the highest score, I just play BG morning and evening everyday. No secret there.
@@bcstravels143 really nice! But you also know the difference between #1 and #10 is a lot of rating. (At least of my server is almost 1500 rating atm, I am 4350 at #1, but like you since I’m busy, only been doing the daily BGS)
The hardest part isn’t to reach Legend, it’s after 3500 rating where reso and matchmaking is free for all, and whale matches start to be a pain xD
Iim st paragon 382 and only now realized how I've been missing out. Been playing night or die depending on shifts at work and apart from sleeping. Thanks a bunch. I've been playing mainly PvE cause me and pvp r not big mates but after watching this I'll give it a go
Hey Willie, yeah PvP can still be fun as a F2P - but I would highly recommend you to get to Server Level Paragon, get some gear, level up your Combat Rating before starting to taking PvP serious.
For me, it took me around 3/4 months to build up my character before going to PvP - otherwise you just probably gonna be smashed and well, get a bad experience because you are undergear.

I made the same mistake with those stupid Horadric Vessels. I had to laugh at "Horadim" btw. 😂
From the start, I was levelling all of them up evenly. I had no idea how much of a negative impact that would be until just 3 months ago when someone indirectly, tipped me off. I wonder why hmm? Compared to other players, both Old and New, who already knew that secret, my Arm/ArmPen is significantly lower than theirs and is unrecoverable until Blizzard finally allows us to be able to either take back, or be able to reset our Horadric Vessels like we can do with the Paragon Tree. I have already informed Blizzard of this unfair advantage.
Anyhow, been in this game almost 2 years now, and was still able to take away some helpful tips. Very informative, thanks. Cheers. 👍
Oh hey Batz! I check a few videos of yours in the past, good stuff! I agree that it’s definitely unfair and they should make a way to reset - most likely will be with Orbs Ahah.
But maybe they don’t want whales to manipulate their stats and they want like gems? It’s the only thing I can think about of why not allowing reset.
However making a decision that affects everyone because of 0,1% of the players that play the game isn’t wise.

Thats very likely mate. Its a catch 22. I know Blizzard has to do what they need to do for certain technical and or economical reasons, A lot of players have also been here since day 1 and also made that same mistake. It's an unfair handicap if they dont allow players the ability to adjust that. I would have already had all 3 of those vessels at Rank 30 months ago had I known better. 😂

Here's the money question, how do you prioritize gear when choosing between much higher CR vs 3 gem slots? For example:
A) 1850 combat rating with 3 gem slots
B) 1960 combat rating with 2 gem slots
(All other stats / magic attributes being equal)

3 slots always above CR. The 3rd socket is always the Blue socket which gives you the most important 2 secundaries - Armor & Armor Pen. Belt is the only item that you can take with 2 sockets because Red/Purple gems are kinda useless at end game.

I’m in bronze 1 very new to the game and every game I play no matter what every time I get matched with whales no matter what. I JUST started the video so hopefully it helps change that for me
I haven’t even gotten 1 kill in PvP yet… it’s that bad lol
Probably you are just too weak to do PvP - I only started to do PvP once my character was slightly build up around 3-4 months into the game, and I'm not very casual. Before that, BGs will just dead content for you
@@IndezYTso I’ve been playing about 3 week an I play everyday for atleast 5 hours or more. I have a lvl 415 tempest and have a lvl 270 barb. I’m about 10 minutes into your video and from the looks of it I’m going to have to turn my barb into my main to be able to have any impact in PvP. I’m mostly f2p but I’m able to spend like 20-40$ here and there I just don’t know what is best to buy to help me.
Ok, so first thing - do you know you can Class Change in this game? So you don't need to have any alts to play other classes. Mainly I think just having one character and doing everything right for it, it's A LOT of work, can't imagine multiple.
And then, yeah man, you are just too early in the game - your character is still weak but the good news is that if you are watching right now, you will already know how to build your character the right way.
Which is gonna give you a huge edge against other players in the future.
@@IndezYT I heard you can class change but in your opinion should I just go ahead and do it now? Because barb is my favorite class, but I went tempest because I heard he is meta op rn for PvP. I’m in inferno 1 rn so if I class change I’m gonna need to grind for a while to get the gear I need because it’s all in inferno 2 right?

Damage Over Time. It’s whenever you had a Bleed, Poison or Burn and will do damage to the target for X amount.

CR is high because of primary equipment level 30 and player with all equipment level at 20 VS and player with 30 has a difference of 800 CR points and that's a lot.

Hey bro! I just got luck today and found a unbound PHY Rune (Orange), i know You say always sell unbound runes, but in my server it's price is around 15k, do you think i must sell it or use it? Thanks so much!
I always sell unbound because as a F2P is one of the few options to get plat to buy Legendary Runes to upgrade your 5*.
You can always drop it again in the future if looking as bound, so… better take the plat.
Also more important, the impact of the runes isn’t as big as it seems and soon, Orange will be replaced by the new Runes coming out and instead of 15k probably gonna be even cheaper than that.
So even if you sell now for 15K you can always buy later for 8K for example.

@@IndezYT mount bang legacy give 20% chance to shield, is there any other possibilities?
@@dhasjebanesar you can’t control their shields, but if you check the Reforge section on the video, there is a Reforge that increase the DMG vs Shielded by 6% (max to 30%).
So whenever they get a shield, it will actually be better for you since you will do even more damage.
Check 24:06 for Reforge Sets

Yes, deleting it from the game would be a good option to start Ahah
On a serious note, I don't have much Monk experience with, played it for a few days, and I was waiting "when it's gonna get good?" never did, so I changed class and never came back.
The primary teleport is bugged, animations are clunky, overall the class doesn't feel very fluid or impactful at all (specially in PvP)
That question might be left to Monk experts, they probably know better what to do to fix it.
I won't give an opinion that I have no knowledge on. If in the future I do, I might give some suggestions!

@IndezYT I tried to unlock reforge loadout 2, it says 1447 reforge completed, 240 reforge deducted. What it means? is it free to unlock?
Yeah, it’s free. You just have to had to reroll a certain number of reforge stone in the past. Can’t remember how many.
So if you are still lacking, just use a few reforge stones to fix your sets.
im paragon 430 and my cb is 35k i dont know what to do where to farm to reach 37 to go inferno 2

Im just focus on fort and will on items. The things is if i choose high cr leg items with 3 attributes plus some magics buff, i will lose so much will and fort. It will not high enough, so what the plan bro?
Exp: if i choose full set 2 option buff , my pen armor and potency, resis will around 4k5. But with 3 option buff, it just have around 3k8-4k each stats, does it worth bro ?
Yes, the Fort + Will that you lose will be compensated with the CR you get. If you are below CR, it creates a 20% gap between you and the player, because you do less 10% DMG and he does 10% more damage than you.
This gap is higher than the loss of a few hundred secondary. Also you aren't counting the extra Life + Damage and Magic attributes you get from having 3+3/4 gear that comes with it.
Overall, it's better. I hope it clarifies.
@@IndezYT wow it mean if i have 39k CR, Opponent have 39.1k CR, so enemy always have 10% more dmg than me ? Or it depend how many i lower CR compare with enemy bro ?
So the difference is about 600-700 CR between players for the 10-11%. So it isn't hard for players stronger than you to have this difference because of their higher Reso = CR from Gems or even an active player if you are going with 2 stats items.

Sure you can be #1 then Blizzard match making will make sure you get paired against whales and enjoy a 3 week long losing streak watching your rank fall into the 50s. I've quit playing PVP and almost ditched the entire game because of it.
I understand your point. I’m sorry you had such a bad experience with PvP, maybe see what you could improve accordingly to what I explained in the video.
Regarding the rank falling, last season I was Rank 2 - 4500 with 67% WR by the end of the season.
I can’t predict the future but even today, I increased it to 71% 😅

I went from a 60% to 35% win ratio. 1 win in nearly 3 weeks after reaching #1 and staying there a couple of week. Match making only improved with the next season. So why bother? Maybe Blizzard has fixed it since then but I'm not interested in finding out.

Dude let's be real. You are using everlasting and vipers bite, the only 2 gems needed to be "good". Lol it does insane dmg and is way too op don't even have to do anything else really just run around with those 2 gems lol and melt everything gg lol
Well, not really xD The real damage of the DoTs build and what makes it so strong is the 4xGrace Set. So having just the gems is okayish.
There are multiple factors that goes into DoTs build, definitely the gems is one of them. But you need to have High Potency otherwise your DotS won't last long on the target, you need more DotS like for example Bleed, Burning coming from the essences to get even more Grace procs = More damage.

In no time in the video was mentioned that this video was about maintaining rank 1. But I’m curious to know what is the “so much more” topics that you think that wasn’t covered in the video? I’m genuinely curious.
I was rank 2 last season with 4200, but started only a few weeks from season end and it was my first season trying PvP, so I’m sure I will keep learning and improving as well.
