I am about to buy my first Chanel perfumes and yes, living in Malaysia needed both day and night scent. I am confuse whether to buy the chanel no.5 , no.19 poudre or cristalle. I am 23 years old btw and i like something that when people smell it, they would compliment and adore me for it. Something seductive but yet clean and naive. I hope i come to the right place cause I needed some advice before purchase.
Jasmine, I would love to have you roam around to all your stashes of makeup skincare and perfume and just show us how they are placed all around your room. Whenever I watch your videos I am wondering what is that back behind you. kind of like Sally Hughes's videos where she goes into peoples bathroom cabinets and lets us see all the product they store. Kind of what's all those bottles at the back of your bed and stored right beside you. Loved your perfume collection but would have loved to see it all in the box you store it in. The collection all together! You have so much and seems so interesting! Thanks for sharing.
I wear no 5 during winter! All my perfumes (I have 60 perfumes haha) are sorted into summer, autumn, winter and spring! I just see what the day feels like and use a perfume that accommodates the feeling! It's spring here in Australia right now but today was a cold day that felt like winter so I wore a winter perfume! Makes choosing a perfume so much easier when they are organised with the seasons for me!
Jasmine^^ My all time favourite is the 80's perfume "Lou Lou" which they still sell thankfully! Then "Chanel no 5" and my third favourite is "Estee" from Estee Lauder!

my fragrances that i like are fresh, clean scents nothing overpowering. i love the brand philosophy their amazing grace perfume, they also have beautiful body gels too. i also find chanel no. 5 too strong, never did smell no. 19. what does edt and edp stand for? that bottle of #5 perfume is so pretty. perfume bottles also makes a statement. i learned a lot about chanel - makes me want to go out and buy some....lol thanks rox
+Roxane Nakamura EDT = Eau de Toilette contain 4-10% Perfume oil, EDP = Eau de Parfum contain 8-15% Perfume oil. I like the original Philosophy - Amazing Grace too but the ingredient in it is different now :(
Roxane Nakamura edp stands for eau de parfum and edt stands for eau de toilette. Edp is much more stronger than edt since it is oil-based. Try N°5 edt. Or the new flankers N°5 Eau Premiére or N°5 L'eau it is very watered down. You are welcome!
Thanks for the video. I used to think no. 5 was too strong but tried my sister in laws this summer of all times and really liked it on me. Haven't bought it though. I am prone to migraines so I dont like to wear perfume that is too strong or lasts too long. I think your video was well done, I like to know how long the fragrance lasts, if you can purchase it now and what type of smell it is ... sweet floral etc. It was nice of you to share what you have and your opinion on the fragrance.
For instance in my younger days I wore Coco to the movies and the smell kept on going into my nose and overwhelmed me. I had to go to the toilette and vomit for relief - of course I never wore it again. I like fragrance to wear off and be light and airy - I have always bought fragrance but since I had my daughter 10 yrs ago can honestly say that I bought nothing but baby cologne. I love the smell of orange blossoom, lavender and such like smells.

It has Sicilian Orange, Bitter Orange Flowers, Camomile, Geranium, Lavender, Rosewood, enhanced by Tunisian rosemary, Clary Sage, Petit grain Paraguay and cubela fruit. It smells pleasant citrus and aromatic note. It's not at all sour and lasts only but a short while. Exquisite uplifting smell.
I use to keep my spare bottle in the original box, but since I'm moving to Mainland China, have to take away all the boxes or bring 2 bottles in every travel 😅

My friend sent me a roll on type of Hilde Soliani fragrance for me, I think is the Iris one, don't have the name of it, but the almond has over power the iris. You are very lucky to have it on sales ^^

My Chanel test are totally different then you, I have Coco mademoiselle, chance with rose scent,Coco noir. You are right, the prices of perfume are very expensive now days.

Actually, for many years my most favorite of all was the first Versace perfume, now discontinued and impossible to find except a sample from time to time at an outrageous price on ebay. This perfume was so wonderful and unique, everyone would ask me what it was etc..., received compliments from virtually everybody everywhere. The day Versace stopped producing it was a drama for me, ever since I have tried and looked to find a perfume that I would love the same, to no avail... still searching. Nowadays I find most perfumes look alike, it is hard to find a truly unique fragrance. Have you ever tried Flower Bomb by Viktor & Rolf? It contains Jasmine ;) Very very nice :)
Off topic but do You know why i cant Join the Guerlain Club from Norway?? My store dosent carry all products in Guerlain Brand 😔and it is my favourite !! And my retailer never Get gift w purcase😳😳i need to move to Your city😄😄
+literolty I think is because Guerlain distribute to different countries, and each distributor has there own way of doing business. In Hong Kong, we don't have all the products too ^^ Norway is getting cooler right?

I'm keeping my boxes just in case i sell or die bc the box is helpful to sell at a higher price.

Both. It's nostalgic because of my father, but I love the scent. Much stronger aldehyde than #5.
