Probably one of the most beautiful instruments I've heard. If I were not already busy trying to learn other instruments, I'd want to learn the duduk. Too many instruments I'd like to learn, not enough time!
I agree James, I loved this sound ever since I heard it the first time in The Gladiator soundtrack from 2000. I play about 20+ instruments, and the Duduk is by far the hardest for me personally. But I will keep at it. =)
I also love duduk a lot. I bought it an even tried to play it, but it is simply too hard for me. I get a headache after just a couple of minutes playing😢 I have two of them - the smaller one which I can play a little bit and a large one, which is way too hard.

Yes, it's so crazy hard to learn to play this instrument haha. By far the most difficult instrument I have in my collection. But I will keep practicing, because the sound when played well is so emotional and beautiful.
Oh me too! Same problem. Itbjust sits on the shelf most of the time. I have to stick to the recorder. I also have a native american flute. It is easy to play thank goodness
