Ride aboard Paris RATP 2009 Irisbus/IVECO Citelis Line on bus service 163

Bus ride through some suburbs of Paris: from Neuilly-sur-Seine to Nanterre and going through Courbevoie. RATP service 163. Bus: 2009 Irisbus/IVECO Citelis Line #3441. Entered service in April 2009 on route 30, transferred to route 163 in November 2018.
The Irisbus Citelis and Crealis are a range of city buses built and marketed by Irisbus from 2005 to 2015. The Citelis was available in three lengths: 10.8 metres, 12 metres and articulated 18 metres. The Citelis was produced in the French plant in Annonay (formerly Renault VI), the Italian plant in Valle Ufita (closed in 20111) and the Czech plant in Vysoké Mýto (formerly Karosa).
Designed to be a suburban bus (cities on the outskirts of an agglomeration), the Citelis Line is more economical than a diesel powered Citelis. The Citelis Line succeeds the Agora Line. There is only a 12 metre version. Its rear part is very different from that of other Citelis because its engine is located longitudinally, which represents the main difference compared to a Citelis 12. The rear lights are also positioned differently (vertical, while they are horizontal on the rest from the range).
Its production was stopped in October 2010 due to too low sales.
The technical characteristics of the RATP Citelis Line are as follows:
- Diesel engine 6 cylinders in line vertical transverse at the rear, type IVECO Cursor 8 (euro 3) of 180 kW (245 hp), to euro 4 standards and up to euro 5 and EEV standards;
- electronically controlled full air suspension;
- 320mm floor at the front door and 330mm at the middle door, accessible from the ground floor;
- length: 11.90m; width 2.50m; Empty weight: 11.7t; total loaded: 19.0t;
- capacity: 91 passengers including 27 seated + 4 folding seats and a UFR (wheelchair user) seat accessible by an electrically operated ramp at the middle door.
