How do we fix it? What government will change this and get the wealthy off side? I find people vote as if they are in thos situation but they never will be.

Yes, most of us must think we're billionaires that haven't quite got there yet and vote accordingly, even though it's to our own disadvantage.

Thank you for highlighting all of these deplorable policies which screw a lot of people to the benefit of the affluent....appalling!

In your video about the luxury car tax I said this "Albanese is way to buddy buddy with the Murdochs to act on this no matter how sensible." still relevant.

Could you prepare a podcast about the benefits of a universal pension like NZ offer? Your superannuation podcast makes no mention of the risks of superannuation. These include investment sequencing longevity. Nor does your podcast point out the unfairness of people who access age pension but paid little or no tax. Yes superannuation benefits the top 20% of income earners as they pay the vast majority of income tax.

I think you may need a different think tank for that podcast. This is the 'Rich People Bad' lobby.

Get rid of super and just give me my money now and tax more later to pay more pension. If my money can compound, so can the governments ability to tax more for schools hospitals and pensions. I mean not everyone is forced to do super. Another point is how does a couple retired have $1.9mill in super which can pay $90k in income easily pay zero tax, and here we are making $90k and paying $20k in tax? Makes no sense.

It's disingenuous to infer that all the tax concessions go to men when generally superannuation is used to provide household retirement income and women outlive their partners (because they are on average younger and women live longer). Most of the benefit of the concessions actually accrue to women. The notion that men have all the super is also ill-conceived, because households share assets and if the household ever separates, superannuation is split along with other assets.
