Problem with the ghibli is that it became a good car in 2021 with its many improvements. Allthough i prefer the quattoporte a lot more with interior and styling. I get the ghibli had its faults but it matters that they all fixed it. Wished the issues would have gotten resolved earlier. Being discontinued for good now instead of a New gen. Rest in peace

Its so strange because the ghibli imo is one of the prettiest sports saloons out there. What I dont understand is, why maserati lost its touch. Because mclaren is equally as unreliable but it seems to be doing fine. Could it be the lack of hypercars in maseratis lineup?
@@mustafak9001 it’s simply the build quality and the use of cheap parts from other Chrysler/Dodge brands. It’s not just the fact that it’s unreliable. McLaren might be unreliable but at least they put a lot of effort into making it and use very high quality components
They should have had a more extreme facelift throughout it years of production. The new version look almost identical to the the older and they go for cheap so it’s hard to justify the 6 figure price . If they made it look different than it would have distanced itself from the older cheaper versions. I wish they came out with the alfieri that would have been a hit.

My wife wanted an older Maserati like that Ghibli, but I refuse to let her own one. They are horribly unreliable and just a mess to keep going. It’s a shame because they were once considered a higher class automobile.

I completely agree with what you said here. I’m not a fan of the Ghibli or the Quattraporte. I do however, love the Granturismo MC as well as the MC20
