The easiest way to manage your money is to take it one step at a time and not worry about being perfect😊
After meeting Mr James in the United States, my life changed completely. Yours can change too, it's just a matter of commitment and focus.
Wow what a wonderful bot spammming scam! Thank you so much!
For some context, Karl- There is only a narrow strip where conditions are right for sap-producing maple trees, and it takes a lot of sap to produce a litre of syrup. Also, you have to watch the boil like a hawk.
Just an fyi, about 40 to 50 not 1000
Think I accodentally added a zero to what my uncle told me LOL@@LazloVimes
I'm the very rare kind of person who has somehow never had any negative experiences with taxi drivers. Had a bunch of times when they took me back home for free when i ended up in the middle of nowhere, broke and without an idea how i ended up there after too many beers 😂
Well that's why you never had a bad experience. You've been too wasted to realize or remember.
I've also never had any negative experiences with taxi drivers, since I've never taken one. 😂
I have had mixed experiences. Before Uber and Lyft, cab drivers were much worse. But, I have friends who are dancers and use the same cab service/drivers all the time (many dancers don't have credit cards so can't use Uber or lyft). So, the relationship with cab drivers is better
@@mrdonetx haha no, did take plenty of taxi rides when sober too. I guess not living in the city helps😂 people are much less cuntish around here. Big city folk... yeah no they're much more likely to be dickheads🤣
The Tow truck wars is a real thing, I was in a car accident in Toronto and the tow "trucks" showed up before anyone actually called the accident in, I was stunned at how fast they got there LOL
I saw a group of tow truck drivers fighting in Ottawa a few years back. Odd thing, they were all the same company. Meanwhile, 50 feet away, a 2nd company was in the process of towing away the wreck. Not sure why members of what appeared to be the same company were fighting.
I just remembered a Bouncy Castle turf war from Austrailia. The owner of a party supply company in a major AUS city was hiring people to burn their competitor's bouncy castle down. The caper lasted until the police realized that his bouncy castles were the only ones that weren't being destroyed.
an ouroboros of chicken theft... who ever came up with that deserves a raise :D
Love your content Karl! Keep them coming❤❤❤
You got it!
@@ToptenzNettop10 SWEET
@@ToptenzNettop10yeah, Cal. Good stuff.
Karl, you missed one when you talked about the hotdog "cart-els".
Always love your work Karl!👍🏻
"street athletes" is my new favorite phrase 😆
There is a new system in Ontario on provincial highways. I have been a victim of the Tow Truck wars… Now in Ontario on provincial highways, you have to dial 511. The government is in control of the tow trucks on the major highways. It hasn’t stopped the wars, but has helped a bit.
Here in San Diego there's a hot dog cart vendor turf war. Hot dog cart vendors are traveling about 100 miles from Los Angeles to steal customers leaving baseball games, night clubs, etc. from local vendors. In one incident a Los Angeles cart owner pulled a knife on a San Diego cart owner on the sidewalk in front of Petco Park baseball stadium.
Also, unlicensed hot dog carts from San Diego are trying to steal business from the carts that are licensed by the city of San Diego.
I kinda like Your Term ' Street Athelete ' - Never heard that before; have I been living under a rock !?
"Ruckayzee" is how its pronounced, in reference to the area in Glasgow.
I really found this video informative and wild. Definitely learned a lot. Oh humans.
Tow trucks...
I used to work in insurance and before the companies stopped allowing the agents to help customers with their claim(filing), i used to hear a LOT OF BAD stories and which ones rip off the owners and insurance companies
No gun play, but worst taxi was in rural New England going to work on a rainy day instead of riding my bike in the morning when I was 19. Homeboy was arguing with a crackhead (allegedly) who jumped out without paying, and then proceeded to try and run him over before dropping me off at the welding shop like nothing happened. Interesting Monday.
It seems that I've seen that 'ice cream' turf war theme in a British Crime drama at some point....can't remember which show it was.
I believe the show was “New Tricks” from the early 2000’s with Amanda Redman and Dennis Waterman.
I enjoy your work, Karl!
You missed a golden opportunity to cover the Acropolis Vs. Casa Diablo feud
I was in Queens NY last year when a Kennedys was burnt down.
I was being intimidated by a group of 4 well known people in my area who did the same job as me. I worked on my own, and we had a job working outside in different locations. I decided to pretend i wasnt afraid of them and would stand my ground. People would literally pack up work and leave the area when they saw these people. I ended up bluffing them into thinking i wasn't bothered by them. After a few attempts to intimidate me they gave up and instead simply say hello and leave me be. I have no point lol
I really enjoy your content and I've been watching the episode about the ice cream turf wars in New York. But there was a real turf war with the ice cream trucks in the early 1960's. The original ice cream company was freezer fresh and then Mr softee into the picture, and they had a war that included blowing up ice trucks. At one point someone broke into the depo of Mister softee and stole all the ice cream heads on the machines and basically put them out of business for a while. I know all of this because my family was involved.
On which side??😂😂😂😂
Silent and Boomers: *Blow up ice-cream trucks, ruin economy*
Everyone: "They were the best generations!"
Gen X and Millennials: *can't find a job because economy ruined by last generations*
Everyone: "They were the worst generations!"
Ice cream truck wars were related to drugs. Gangs were pushing heroin and ecstacy mainly and selling to from the trucks and that was literally the only thing the dispute was about.
Ive only ridden in a cab twice but both the drivers were lovely lol
I was in a cab from the airport in Bangkok to Pattaya - big mistake!!! My driver kept falling asleep while we were on the highway. I had to keep slapping his headrest to wake him up, so we didn't veer off the road or into on-coming traffic.
I’m sure I’m not the only Canadian who has already said this in the comments , but as a Canadian I’ve never heard any of those things.
I'm from New Zealand, and I didn't know that about honey
Thought the new haven ambulance war would be on here
Kal Smallwood might be my favorite presenter.
KARL!? I didn't know the Fact Fiend himself had another show!
He doesn't have the whiskers but we are slowly warming up to him and that funny looking arm😉😉😉
No. His name is Kal. That's what I heard him say. Kal Smallwood.
@@joshuagibson2520 it been 2 weeks and i still dont know if your jokeing
@@Kronos- I kinda am. Cause of how he omits the R when he says it.
Do south African taxi wars
Here in the Western US, there are turf wars that have been fought over woodland edible mushroom patches that have gotten to the level of involving organized crime. Fortunately, where I lived, I was able to harvest wild mushrooms and sell them at the local famers' market without hassle. I could tell some funny stories, though.
hey....KS' back. good reporting. welcome back.
Thanks.
Taxi turf war? Sounds Iike a series of missions in GTA: Vice City
I like really good maple syrup. But lately it's been difficult to find. It doesn't matter how much you pay for it it's either burnt tasting or too thick or thin and it is only once in a while that you get good syrup. I know why this is I just don't have enough money to do something about it.
Is this what the Mario bros went through in that live action movie?
Yorkshire Langos wars, anyone? Hungarian Langos owners beating each other up, even deaths. Langos is a Hungarian variant of a Doner with serious amounts of veg and sauce, and the bread(?) is soft and fluffy, not hard like pitta. I love em' but buy one late at night you're taking your safety in you hands. Here in Yorkshire, the rivalry is bad, man, just plain bad.
Karl!
Soon, we're going to hear about homeless people in San Francisco having turf wars over which streets they can poop on. It will start with small scuffles between individuals but when they start banding together into cliques, the turf turd war blow up into a really sh!tty situation 💩 😮
Manuka Honey is AUSTRALIAN. Cheers mate.
I used to do drivebys on a tractor in GTA: San Andreas.
Premium shit!
Wait when did Karl get here
Provide superior service and you don't have to kill your rivals. Or, and I'm just spitballing here, if you find the margins are too thin to make a profit in your field of service, do something else. You'd be surprised how many gaps there are in services out there that could desperately have better options.
12:50 Having an impound yard has got to be as close as it gets to printing money. Obviously there are security costs and whatnot, but to own a big lot where all you have to do is store cars and charge people an insane amount of money to get them back (I believe it's $1,200/month PER CAR), that's a sweet gig.
Toronto is not Canada. One city does not make a nation.
has simon just gave you the dead channels
Simon stepped away from these channels. He was just the presenter here. He didn’t own them
You got the glasgow thing so so wrong mate... do some research
Legend has it that Tony Soprano bid on a bungalo bar ice cream truck but was outbid by john gotti. John gave him a ride home in it however.
simon?
Unfortunately, a lot of these seem like immigration problems....
Worcestershire Sauce vs Hendersons Relish because Worcestershire Sauce is disgusting.
Henderson’s is literal weak sauce, and I was born in Sheffield.
Wash your sister sauce😂😂😂😂
Ugh Karl is so insufferable
I actually like him for top tenz some of the other channels not so much
Kal is a good dude.
