Tae and IU have amazing natural chemistry on screen and off. I so hope they do many more projects together be it music and/or acting. Tae really showed his leading man/drama/action acting chops in this MV and I can't wait to see what acting offers/projects he gets when he comes home.
Taehyung was so busy before going to the military and he filmed so much content for us. I am so glad he is part of IU's MV. Their chemistry is incredible!
IU is a very unique singer and is known as a national treasure in South Korea.
She encountered financial difficulties in her family when she was a child, so she determined to become an "adult" who could support her own life earlier. Because she likes singing, she decided to be a singer. She hoped to connect the hearts between "I and YOU" through music with emotions, so she took the stage name "IU".
Originally, she wanted to be a traditional ballad singer when she debuted, but because too young, she did not gain much attention from the public in that time(when she is only 15).
Later, the entertainment company tried to package her as an idol singer and achieved great success (in the year she was 18). But when she became very popular with the public at the age of 21 with her beautiful appearance and cheerful personality, she decided to regain her original ambition and embark on a completely different path from ordinary Kpop......She remake songs more than 20-years-old, and re-introduced the popular culture of the previous generation to the younger generation, and received a very good response from public.
From then on, Koreans no longer viewed her as an idol with only a sweet image, but instead viewed her with respect as a real "artist of music" who contributed to popular culture.
In additional to her famous angelic voice just like moonlight, she is also known for her versatility and is an award-winning singer, music producer, lyricist, also a top-tier actress and model. She has many popular songs written by herself.
Because she has held the belief that "love will eventually win" for many years, she wrote the lyrics and produce the project herself, and specially asked the film director she had collaborated with to film this MV.(The directer won the 2023 Blue Gragon Films Award of Korea)

He was already...on palette before military. It isn't a set. it is an abandonned hotel resort. Korea has an area that has a lot of abandoned resorts left as is, but they want to refurbish them and open them up again. There is a lot of filming done at these places.

It's an abandoned/shut down resort.. it's mainly used now for filming locations.. in the beginning of the video they filmed the beach side of the resort..

V is an angel and talented actor and singer and so handsome. IU is incredible singer and actress and both have best chemistry. I need Netflix drama from them so bad 😩
Clearly A LOT of work went into the making of this MV. The extreme weather conditions didnt help either. But they braved the elements and gave it their all. Truly just professionals, the both of them. *Love Wins All* was a groundbreaking project. Perfection all round. 💯

The composer of the song of IU shld work with V. During v’s interview on IU program immediately V connected with that pianist without V knowing that he is a song composer and V’s reaction asking IU that he needs to work with him and IU said are you trying to steal -it’s similar along those lines. So V felt his connection with the pianist immediately. That is why he likes the song so much, he said its his jam.

I've been told the movie Concrete Utopia is on Viki (depends on your country though). I've seen it and it was interesting, V's friend Park Seo-Joon stars in it. It's more a moral tale than a disaster movie but it's worth the watch. Hope you'll enjoy it.

Concrete Utopia is a movie that was directed by Um Tae-hwa who directed this MV and is currently winning a few awards for it. I saw it was for rent on VIKI and if I remember correctly V walked the stage for the movie premiere press photo ops awhile ago. Superb job but who can fail with IU and V.

That’s how plenty people interpreted it though,me included. It’s definitely about society judging people and putting them in a box, especially their country where anyone that does anything out of the box, like Taes personality which is a breath of fresh air with not trying to do things the same as everyone is being judged harshly. This MV wasn’t a random “I thought Tae will act best” kinda thing.
It was carefully planned by Tae and IU for him to be a part of it cos both wanted to send that message to please let people live, let them the celebrities have autonomy in their lives and their choices without judgement. Also it’s a reintroduction of Tae back into acting, they needed the film industry to see how he is an actor that can deliver and he aced it.
PS: My statement might sound like I want to make a rainbow point but absolutely not, it’s simply about Freedom to do their celeb life and have choices without society having a say, that’s it.
I don't know if you watched the credits at the end. It had three actors listed. IU, Tae and the Cube. There is suppose to be ten things in the movie that they did. One was the lip ring. Now I only noticed five. If anyone knows some they can list them. I only know 4 more. And I believe IU is engaged to a actor. Oh by the way I love your video's and I love watching your expressions. Thank you for doing these for us.

Eventually they will marry and we all know that. IU is incredibly talented, and her vocal/acting skills are unparalleled. BUT, V was a huge draw to this video as BTS is so very well-known and loved by all!!!!
IU is well known too. she is very popular not just in sourh korea. don't forget that she is the most well respected soloist in south korea that's why they called her DIGI MONSTER. the MV is beautiful because they all worked hard for it.
BTS is well known and it's true but TAEHYUNG also has different fanbase and so does IU . Both will be successful without army help . Don't forget Taehyung is a SOLOIST with huge fan following and so does IU. They are talented and all the stuff, director everyone work hard that's why this music video is masterpiece
