Great video once again, im coming to the end of my level 3, is jumping straight from here to ACCA a mistake? I know you get teh exemption from completing level 4 but would it not be quicker to pass the 3 exams with ACCA than the 5 with AAT bearing in mind the possible set backs if you fail just one?

I think it's a really fair question and one that I may do a video on at some point. Now it's not a one size fits all, however, for the vast majority of people I would recommend that they complete their AAT level 4. The reason being mainly relates to completion and a self awareness around ability, motivation to study and end goal. I simply wouldn't have enough space to fully explain each of those in enough detail as i'd like to but in the shortest way possible. 1) to complete AAT level 4 you have fully completed a qualification. That's very useful for your CV to say that you're AAT qualified and not have to caveat that with to level 2, level 3 etc. You'd be fully qualified in this qualification. 2) The qualifications preceding AAT (ACCA, CIMA, ACA etc) are very challenging and time consuming. Better to have completed a qualification than have two unfinished qualifications. 3) the time you'd actually save is so minimal in the long term that it's really not worth the potential stress if you then end up finding the next tier of qualification too difficult.

What are the jobs that we can get after completing AAT lvl 4?

It would be very dependant on experience, assistant accountant, management accounting, finance manager jobs are all achievable but you would need to have built up the relevant experience to do the jobs. You wouldn’t be able to solely do the qualification and then jump into something at this level.

Hi, I've just completed my Masters in Accounting & Finance, which level of AAT should I study? And is there any exemption for masters student?

Hi, so I’d check with AAT directly in terms of exemptions. If you’ve got your masters and you’re wanting the AAT qualification I’d recommend starting on level 4.

Please can i jump straight away to study level 4 instead of level 2 or 3?

It’s feasible but if you have no prior accounting qualifications it’s a risky game to play!

@@aylanlina7364I jumped straight into level 4 with my apprenticeship, having no prior knowledge of accounting. I set my EPA tomorrow so it’s definitely doable
